Hi there, I’m a player who has recently returned to the game about a month ago after stopping a few months prior to when HoT came out. Before I quit I had been playing the game since launch but never really found the endgame to be appealing, however I thought I would return after hearing great things about the raiding in GW2, and after seeing the direction they’ve been taking the game with LWS3, I’ve decided to commit myself to returning as an active player.
I’m obviously afraid of jumping right into a lfg for raiding, for obvious reasons, but have already taken the steps towards becoming raid ready. I currently main a condi Necro, but also have a max level Mesmer, Rev, and Engi.
I have been playing lots of fractals to try and buy myself some ascended armor. I already have ascended jewelry, and weapons, so I’m almost at the optimal stat wise, however I’ve heard you can quite easily clear raids without full ascended.
If there is any guild that wouldn’t mind teaching a player like me how to raid and the mechanics behind the bosses, I’d love to join
