(45 character title limit sucks)

Hey everyone! I’m a returning launch player who hasn’t really played much of GW2 since a few months after release. this is pretty much noted by my lower leveled characters (48 Thief, 44 Warrior)

I’m currently on the Crystal Desert world, and I’m looking for a friendly and social guild to join. I don’t really have a specific mindset of what I want to do – Heck, not even sure I’ll continue playing my Thief and Warrior right now and will probably make another character after I make this. I do know I am open for nearly everything. I’ve done a little bit of solo PvP and a few stints of WvW, but mostly has a roamer. Which was a bad idea.

Anyway, I am open to any guilds play style and am willing to transfer to another World, assuming it’s not full. Thanks in advance for any who consider this!

Hiya, Jir! Welcome back to GW2! A lot has happened in Tyria since you were here, but it’s definitely possible to get back into things. =) I know you’re on Crystal Desert, but if you’d be willing to guest over (and possibly switch later on?) to Tarnished Coast, I think you’d really like my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a small-ish (55+ people) PvX guild that does a little bit of everything, and we love new people. No, seriously, we even have a Newbie Officer. xD We enjoy helping people get achievements like Dungeon Master (we just ran Arah p. 4 yesterday to that end), and we also like helping with the small things, like personal story quests or thoughts on gear/crafting/builds.

So if all of this sounds interesting, we have a full recruitment post, plus if you register on our forums, you can get read-access to our GW2 sections. That way you can get a feel for the guild before you decide if you want to put in an application. (It’s fairly short and basically aimed at weeding out elitists and trolls so we can make sure the guild stays friendly and welcoming.) My name is Telana Dentari, humble emissary from the guild called Remnants of Hope. For generations, war and chaos raged across the land of Tyria. Five races competed and warred against each other, struggling to tip the balance of power in their favor. In Guild Wars 2, we participate in PvE, PvP and RP on the Tarnished Coast server.

What aspects of the game do we focus on, you might ask?

Remnants of Hope wants to give you the opportunity to build your own playstyle. This means we offer PvE, PvP/WvW and RP. You are free to play the way you want! Don’t care for PvE but love PvP? Go for it! Not so hot for either PvE or PvP but want to really immerse yourself in your character through role-play? Not a problem. Whether you’re casual, semi-hardcore, or hardcore, we’re right there with you. We don’t limit ourselves to one thing that the game has to offer, but all fields that we can conquer as an ever-growing community. Our focus is far from linear like some guilds might be, and we will make the best of everything we’re given!

We hold many in game events such as PvE dungeons, group role-play, PvP, and WvW. While role-play is not required of anyone who joins, we have many talented role-players and writers who work together to create a brilliant and immersive experience both in game and on our forums. Whether you prefer to weave your character’s legendary tale as part of our turn-based forum role-play or to bring it to action during in-game events, role-players of all types will find a welcome home in our halls. In addition to this, we also promote free writing on our forums and even hold writing contests to share stories both within the GW2 universe and beyond!
