Guild Wars 2

Hello fellow gamers and future friends. I played GW2 at release for approx. 2 weeks. However my friends found the game lacking and returned to other mmo’s and so I followed suit. I have grown somewhat bored with the other mmo’s I play ( WoW, Rift, FFXIV and a few others.) I am looking to return to GW2 but for me the best part of a MMO is the other players. I have done my share of solo grinding and I am not looking for more of the same. I am looking for a guild with active members who play at all hours of the day or night. I am an older gamer (47) and I do work full time however I spend a great deal of time playing. I like cooperative play with selfless players who understand that the good of the guild comes before the good of the individual. I would like to play either a Necromancer or a Mesmer. I prefer PVE but I must say that the GW2 WvW is the best I have seen and would love to participate fully in that as well. I prefer to remain focused on one character and learn that class to the best of my ability so as to best serve my guild in whatever goals they wish to accomplish. My goal is to make lasting friendships and, by working together accomplishing more than we ever could by working alone.
If you classify me by the amount of time I put into a game you could say I am a hardcore gamer, however I dislike leetist immensely and while trying to play my class to the best of my ability, never chide others for their builds or play style. People and friendships are always going to be more important than a piece of pixelated gear no matter how rare.
I truly want to find a long term home in Tyria.
As I stated earlier I am an older gamer so I would prefer to find a guild with the majority of players being aged 30+ if such a thing exists here. Please respond if anything I have said resonates with you and let me know what your guild is about and what it has to offer. I promise in return to represent the guild honorably and to be an active and willing participant in all of the guilds endeavors.

Is exactly the guild we are building. Our aim is to have a community of friends not a community of gamers.

I am the recruiting officer & joint guild leader of Free Armed Ronin of Tyria. We are on the Ferguson Crossing server and have players on every day.

We were newly created by myself & Sto Helit about two months ago & currently have 19 members. Our youngest member is 20 and our oldest is 60+. We are also casual & very friendly.

Myself & Sto have been gaming since the late 70’s-early 80’s!!! So we have a lot of experience between us. Whilst I have only played GW2 since last year, Sto played GW for 6 years and has played GW2 since beta.

We have already spent quite a bit of gold on influence and have Guild Bounty open and are working on Economy 6 so we can unlock treks.
