Ring of Fire [RoF] EU server is looking for (experienced) WvW guilds that can help us improve our coverage.
One of the reasons we haven’t been able to get into the top 3 of EU’s bronze league is because we lack somewhat in general coverage,
but probably the biggest reason is that we tend to lose too much outside of primetime (especially during the early morning hours).
So we are fiercly welcoming NA / oceanic guilds, but generally any potential help is welcome :)
We rarely have queues on our borderlands (usually only during reset and sometimes during primetime)

We have a mature, experienced and dedicated WvW core that competes for the highest amount of lootbags and kills ;D
our community consists of players of many kinds of nationalities, most notably UK, Italy and many central/western european countries.

We also welcome any individual players to our community, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are looking for a WvW guild on our server !

Ring of Fire,

I am on this server from day 0. First I have’nt play WvW much, but somewhere around January 2013 i started to play only WvW.
Since then I have been a witness of rise and fall of RoF Communities, Alliances. Whatever the name was.

And finally Ring of FIre Community was born in current state. We are not perfect, we dont have coverage to win alone. We still need help from other guilds on our server. But at least we try.
That is more than other guys can say. Because we are not transfering to server with community build by someone else, we are building one ourselves.

Every day, teamwork of Community guilds rise on the sky of WvW. Every you can see how players from different guilds work together as tight as they are with own guildies.
Every day smaller guilds that were always wiped before Community and this cooperation, those smaller guilds started to work together. Now we can hit 5 targets exactly at the same time with at least 10 people on each target.
I know that does not sounds interesting. But imagine what sort of cooperation and communication is needed for this to happen.

In every other topic Join GH,RoS or any other “silver league” server is posted.
I can see why. There are good fights and thanks to big coverage on those servers you will find battles everywhere.
Another reason may be they have great community.

Well that is true. I wont argue with that logic.

But what most of the posters are forgeting is that it will lead to few servers with heavy population with queues and blobs. Yes RoF fought those servers before leagues, and we did well against them. We did not won, we were far behind them, but we gave them hard time in fights. They just won because of coverage.

So you have a choice, join server that is beiing stacked every day as guilds keep transfering there.
Or You can join Ring of Fire.

Servers that has:
-great fights without blobing
- community that is still trying to get better
- players that play on this server from day 1, no bandwagones like other servers got before leagues
- guilds which work together, and alwys trying to get better

What will it bring to you?
- fresh enemies
- really big potential for RoF to go higher

Who are we looking for?
Any guild even with 10 active players that paly mainly during EU night time, morning time or afternoon time.

We are perfect for NA or Oceanic guilds that want great fights. as there are always fights in these times and we lack of people at night. Even 10 players will make a difference. Even one single pug commander will make a difference.

Dont be affraid to join Ring of Fire and dont be afraid that you need to fight to win, not just join stacked server.

Hi all, since my initial post, a few guilds have already joined us
(I’m looking at you DoRF and WIC ^^).

Our EU primetime is getting better and better, but we are still looking for an Oceanic / SEA and NA guild to join us. As we are still somewhat lacking in coverage within these timezones.

We offer a now very stable an ever growing community that is continiously working on improving interaction and communication. And still we aren’t looking at any queues apart from moments like primetime @ reset or when the enemy is serverely threatening our own BL.

Of course there is also still plenty of room for more EU guilds, with just one or two more we are pretty much able to apply a good amount of pressure to each enemy border.

Our community is growing but still be are not elitists. We care about our server and all our players.

Come to RoF and join our Monday trainings for begginers, regular Tequatl kills, friday reset, Saturday Drunken night raid or guild missions. Almost every day, Community members are doing some event for public.

bumping! we need more fun fights and coverage for silver league, help us reach our destination yo!

After defeating Miller’s and Arborstone last week by a good 50-60k margin. it’s clear our community has improved. Sadly RNG put us back against BT and WSR despite being 4/5 ranks above them and we aren’t likely to gain much rating and we’ll almost definitely lose out on getting our goal of rank 18 this week. However collectively as a community we’re planning to use this week to train up new commanders and host random events for our pve community to come and see why we enjoy WvW so much while also helping the PvE community of RoF with their own events since they help us a lot too.
With a new guild joining next reset we still have no queues and room for about 3 or 4 guilds at EU prime while other time zones we’re pretty much empty except a couple American commanders etc. (normally its EU people playing early/late) We have a dedicated home borderlands team that defends pretty much 24/7 on RoF BL scouting and refreshing siege and their all on TS at all times of the day. We also have our guild groups running public events off EU primetime hours to encourage the publics to attend more often. As the Non-Official Italian Server we have an abundance of Italians, yes but don’t worry while they have their Italian channels and ALLY they still give their efforts to the community and often run public events and have a lot of great commanders that often take the publics on EB or Home borders(yes they command in English then) Our guild groups have a raid schedule so that we can coordinate with another guild on any borderland we normally go to enemy borders and will be coordinating with a different guild every night and rush back to our home border if they need help and we get word from our scouts.
We can offer your guild a friendly active community, a 500 slot community TS which your guild can have a channel in and chocolate bananas!

Just to tell you all how it is to be on Ring of Fire.

I’ve been there since the launch. First i was all about the PvE and didn’t know anything about WvW. I’ve met a few new people that i can call friends and RoF was even more fun.

At the start of 2013 there was a guy telling me about another guild in another server. I’ve spoken to them and they wanted to recruit me. i’ve joined the guild and left Rof. Biggest mistake ever made!

It felt like i wasn’t home. Far away from home and friends i’ve made in Ring of Fire. So i decided to leave the guild and transfered back to RoF.

I’ve met the guild i am in now, we are growing stronger and bigger. The community of RoF is amazing!! so many people, all nice and friendly. always room for more! the WvW is growing as well, more people getting intrested in other things then PvE.

Tranfer to rof! you will not regret it at all!!

Hello guys. I’m just one (and the last) of the RoF players. I’m the leader of one of the Italian Guilds running on this server. I won’t waste words about how much we are strong and good. I just say, we are Ring of Fire. When i log in the game I find many people already playing.

I don’t need to start a collaboration for keeping the WP I’ve built the very last night. I have already someone taking care of it. Community whisps me if things are going well or bad.

I can have may place in the history of the server. I can be an actor and not a spectator.

All the community works together and all people are part of it.

Right now Ring of FIre is aiming to go to silver league.
We think we have improved our overall performance and its time to test it against stromger enemies.
Yes we wont win Silver, and we even not aim to, but we just hope fighting against stronger enemies will help us improve more. No offence against BT or WSR, but you guys was no challenge against us in term of PPT, and many times even with population.
We still remember our fights against Gandara and AG last year and just how much we improved during these weeks.

Well also looking to find new friends and enemies in silver league and hoping for good GvG.

I am not an official representative for RoF in any way but i think that most people will agree with me on the following ;

Due to a recent influx of guilds we are currently not looking for any more primetime guilds, we still have loads of room for Oceanic, SEA and NA guilds though.

Our community is growing larger, stronger and more coordinated by the day and we are well on our way towards silver league.

Shameless bump! DoA, icU, DOOM, NR, RA and AV have settled in nicely with our community and I’m hearing great things about them, despite me not being able to be online too much this week, Awesome work!

EU Primetime Queues at the moment consist of normally 2 maps from what I’ve seen recently of about 5-20people each so yes our primetime is very stacked we have our raid schedule set up and progressing so we can manage our queue times fairly nicely at the moment and maybe have room for 1 more guild(please contact us first need to hold a meeting with the community to discuss this) and perhaps a few havoc squad guilds. Though outside of EU prime we are queueless on all maps maybe EB will have a queue depending on a community event (morning wood raid to stop german breakfast event, or midnight community raids), In which case we are welcoming all other timezone guilds/commanders/havoc squads to RoF in an effort to help us out in the upcoming silver league next week.

PvP wise from april 15th patch we’ll be opening up a regular RoF PvP Tournament with large sum gold prizes to the top teams. We’re planning on streaming and commentating over all of our matchups to increase the popularity of the event. see (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ANUHCdNS_c)
We also run a lot of Asuraball tournaments and friendlies (the Italians are very good at this, beware!)

Our PvE side of the community is strong though have been slacking recently due to helping the WvW side of the Community push to silver of course though they still do daily teq events and weekly wurm events as well as organised champion trains and anytime they need help our WvW guilds return the favour, there is no pve, pvp or wvw community on RoF it is just the community; we’re one community focused on every aspect together. Our different aspect council members regularly holds meetings to discuss matters on each aspect and reports to the entire community at our weekly community meetings on Thursdays with their ideas.

Please note to contact us before transferring if you wish to join us, we are a very tight knit close community and plan to keep it this way it’s what made us as strong as we are and the reason we looked like a potential new home to all these great new guilds.

Good luck with finding ocx players/guilds, or sea for that matter. Your server has picked up quite impressive numbers (up against you this week (ros) or was, as now trying the free transfer for a week. I’ll keep an eye on this thread as I’m looking for a EU server with decent sea/ocx player coverage.

As a veteran WvW player of Ring of Fire I must say this is our best time on history, we’re raising to silver league and many people are joining us. We’ve built the greatest server community on the game (personal opinion) and now we are getting the results we deserve.
If you’re looking for a new home where you can find nice people, guild coordination, public website and server events then Ring of Fire is the place for you.
