Guild Wars 2

Hi there! Well I am a completely new player looking for pals to have some fun and socialize. As said before, I’m new so I have only a Ranger lvl 9~10 as character.

Some things about me:

• 22 male, student trying to get my degree this summer
• Region North America, Server Sorrow’s Furnace
• Absolutely zero experience on MMOs, although lots and lots in RPGs and RTS.
• As previously stated, I look for some casual play, PvE, some PvP from time to time
• I am not looking for speed runs, meta, powerleveling my character and I can’t put more than a few hours into the game weekly.
• Other than that, I’m just looking for a close community to make friends.
  [Edit] * I usually play at nights (20-23 hrs) and while waiting for magic to happen on the lab (11-13 hrs) and I’m in central timezone.

I run a social, tight knit PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, Dragon Empire Alliance. We primarily play during your time and are very good with new and returning players, very helpful. We do have a WvW squad and PvP team for those that want to go the distance. I think you’d fit in well, most of our players are college and/or young marrieds. We use mumble for nightly events and have a private facebook group, too.

I could always interest you in a spot in Wizened Wizards [WISE] guild. =)

We are a PvX (heavily focused to PvE) casual, yet structured, guild who wants to try to take part in all aspects that GW2 has to offer. Although we are a guild with growing numbers, we take more accustomed to the phrase ‘quality over quantity’, and that’s what we intend to do.

Being a casual guild, I have my rule of never removing one for inactivity; play at your leisure. Although I cannot assure you that you may/may not see many on at your time (especially with some schoolers/workers in the guild), we will definitely be on to have a great time with you!

Being a structured guild, while we don’t necessarily have a rep requirement as you join, we do keep an eye on this based to on our rank system, basically showing your loyalty/commitment to our guild, while always having fun with the other guilds.

We do not make it required that you have to be on our home server (Northern Shiverpeaks) to join the guild at all, but if you plan to do WvW with us, then you will need to consider a transfer to NSP then. The type of voice communication we use is TeamSpeak 3, and I will try to get everyone to use it at that prime-time you listed!

Heya, Merengues! Welcome to GW2. =) Ranger is fun, although I haven’t fully gotten the hang of it. What kind of degree are you working on?

I think you’d really like my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a casual PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we love newbies. Seriously, one of our favorite things is doing content with new people, because it’s so much fun to experience the game with someone just starting out. =)

I know you’re on Sorrow’s Furnace, but unless you’re planning on doing WvW (World vs. World), that won’t matter at all for grouping. We have lots of events that happen at exactly the time you play. For example, here’s our schedule for this week:

We have an application (nothing hardcore or about gear, just about what you’re looking for) and a trial period (to help make sure we’re a good fit for each other).
