INTRO
Sea of Sorrows is not only a server that prides itself in WvW, But it also prides itself in terms of community. We offer a community provided teamspeak server as well as a website. Sea of Sorrows is looking for WvW’ers to add to its community to help us grow.

What We’re After

NA – Havok Groups, Organized objective-focused guilds welcome, and One-Two Zerg Busting Guilds.

EU- All play-styles welcome, Need strong guilds here that are willing to play objective-based and fight, Also looking for Commanders for this time zone

OCX- Looking for objective-based guilds as well as two skill groups/zerg busting guilds and havok groups

SEA- looking for commanders to tag up and havok groups

NA- Here in this time zone is where we are in need of a strong guild that enjoys objective-focused playstyle and can present a strong force in doing so. Through the support of scouts and on map guilds and working together to take enemy objectives. Havok groups are welcome and are very important to us and we find them very valuable (camp flipping, tower flipping, or small skirmishes). Also we are looking a for Zerg busting guilds that enjoys farming bags.

EU- This indeed is our weakest timezone in which we have a strong emphasis on recruiting willing bodies/guilds who play in this timezone. Sea of Sorrows EU timezone is the perfect place run a guild, whether it be objective-focused or Skill group, both are highly welcomed.

OCX- Our OCX timezone is in need of objective-focused guilds who enjoy taking enemy objectives and ensuring that our objectives are not taken. We are also looking for Skill groups to join our server who play primarily in this time zone.

SEA- During SEA we are looking for individuals who enjoy tagging up and taking objectives. Also havok groups are highly welcomed during this time.

Ready to up the ante in terms of competitive play? We fight some of the toughest servers with the toughest guilds in the game; and have held our own in Gold League for all seasons and have a “never day die” attitude.

You want zerg busting, they got blobs lacking in skill. You want GvG, they are all in T2 with us. You want small group combat, oh do we have places and people for you to meet. We have a dedicated group of scouts and defensive specialists if that’s more your playstyle, and even have some people that still do say “for the tick”.

However you play, whenever you play (true 24/7 server), you will find what you desire on Sea of Sorrows.

Solid server, check it out. Community is great, players are competitive, and people are dedicated. As someone who has played on t1 (jq), t8 (kaineng), and t4 (ioj back then), I can definitely say this game has changed over time and what remains of the competitive scene is truly in t2. Never been on FA DB or YB so I cannot say what quality servers they are, but definitely, check out SoS if you want part of the action before the game dies.

Veteren Server the place to be, we have fights, ppt, and experience oh yes we also have bags lots of bags. So you want to get some experience and be a better player whether it be GvG in WvW or PvE give us a visit and please join in the fun and games that we all crave and enjoy!

We are fortunate enough to have havok during EU to backcap everything the enemy takes. However, it is incredibly stressful fending off 2 fronts at once during EU primetime. Any help or willing bodies will be appreciated.

A strong server withstand challenges every time, join us you will know what fighting spirit is.

T2 is the place to be right now and SOS is a good server where you can play the way you want. Come join us in SOS in what can be the last true WvW left in the NA servers while it lasts!!

I have been on SoS since almost day 1 beta. I was into PvE for about year until I found WvW and the community here opened their arms right up to me and made me feel right at home. Now you can’t get me out of WvW. Come join us and have some fun!

I too have been on SoS since beta, only starting in WvW at the end of S1. What I found was a group of amazingly welcoming people who I’ve enjoyed playing the game with ever since. I can’t imagine playing on any other server! Amazing people, amazing players, open and welcoming community. Come join us!

Been in SoS for 2 years and haven’t thought once on transferring. If you’re looking for a strong community and a server to call home, SoS is the place for you.

Transferred here a few months ago, and its a great bunch of people to play with and talk to! Great server community where I have seen almost everyone pitch in the best that they can. A solid group of people across the board.

SoS has a great community and there’s always fun things to be apart of in WvW.

Pushing 60% of total score not from tick, SoS is so far ahead of the “competition” when it comes to fight culture and PPK. Constantly running havocs, small ops, bloodlust teams, or fending off endless PPT door basher blobs by our solid guild groups nightly.

SoS is in need of a couple SEA guilds to help in zerg busting, defending or PPT-ing. Tier 2 and the current match up has provided SEA an active timezone. it’s a good place to grow and satisfy your bloodlust!

I transferred to SoS several months ago. I was immediately welcomed, and haven’t had a bad experience. I’ve been all over the place. I’ve been in T1, I’ve been in T2, T8, you name it. I was on Maguuma, and to be honest, their ‘pugs/militia’ were the best out of any other server I had been on. Those days are gone. SoS is the next best in comparison in my opinion (and I have about 14 transfers or so to solidify my opinion). SoS militia are incredible. I remember fighting them when there were hardly any guilds even on this server, and they were still very tough to crack.

The guilds that I have run with here are also fantastic people. I have seen a lot of teamwork and dedication, even in tough times (recently). SoS is resilient and will bounce back, but it needs a few more bodies to accomplish this.

Please seriously consider Sea of Sorrows as the next home for your guild. Or if you’re an individual or a couple of people – We’d love to have you as well!

been on SOS for about 2 months now, it is a great friendly server with many amazing guilds to run with. Come join SOS and all the fun fights we get.

I’ve been on SoS for over two years; and the community has remained strong and our in-game performance has remained just as strong. This server has never backed away from a challenge…or a party.
