Guild Wars 2

I am an experienced WvW player and am tired of my options on Sorrow’s Furnace (Tier 8 ). I’ve tried growing a guild to solve the problem and the solution does not come quickly. So…I’m looking for a new WvW guild and world. My requirements:

• On a world ranked 7-18
• Has at least 10-15 players online and playing WvW during EST evenings and weekends
• Plays as a guild group at all times
• Has a web site and voice chat
• Does not require 100% rep
• Is relaxed and happy

Please list your web site in your reply.

In all likelihood, a few friends will come along as well.

I invite you review our community. Instead of giving some TL:DR article, I have provided some key points below.

Our Community

• New – Nearing months old we have room for you to rank up.
• Mature – We screen our applicants. Our ages range from 18 – 60. We are not religious & you may hear some cursing.
• Active – Recruiting all time zones. We have 50+ members across 4 games, 40 of those in GW2.
• Website – Our site is hosted by Enjin, paid up for a year.
• Helpful – Useful and easy to navigate information on our site. Enjoy answering questions.
• Voice Comms – We use Mumble & Enjin chat via Overwolf overlay to communicate across multiple games.
• Live Streamers – We support Twitch. Our streamers often do giveaways.
• Newbie Friendly – We are very helpful and welcome new players.
• Stormbluff Isles – We are active on SBI, but allow guesting. Don’t forget you can delete all your chars for a free transfer.

In-Game Activity

• WvW – Actively involved. We often run alone. Recently bought our first commanders tag.
• sPvP – Currently putting together a tPvP team, will soon have a custom arena. Regular Meetings.
• Leveling – We often team up with and help our lower levels.
• Dungeons – Some dungeon running. Activity will increase as we recruit new members and our low levels reach 80.
• Fractals – Same as above. Our most active runners are at level 3-5.
• World Bosses – We often report active bosses and kill most of them on a nightly basis.
• Representing – We do not require 100% representation, but atleast 75+-%.

10-15 fighting as a group in WvW each night? Just for dailies?

Hello!
[DA] Decisive Actions is currently looking for players interested in organized WvW. We’d like players that are active and know how to work together as a team with a decent amount of experience in WvW. We run a really tight group and have a nice core group of players, but our active roster isn’t that large. It is not mandatory to attend all WvW events, but you should be active enough even for just an hour or two. We simply want players who are active that intend to give 100% out there during whatever amount of time they play for.
What We Ask Of You
Use TS3! Mic is not required, but it will really help if you have one to use. We do require that you be logged in and listening to the leader.
We have some specific builds / gear we run for optimal group synergy. We need your build to help the team, not a single roamer. If you need help with a build, ask! We’re more than happy to get you geared up and on you way to wins!
When running in our WvW nights, you must play on your main. It’s not that we hate your alts, but we do need to have a general idea of our group makeup each time we run. When it’s not an event night, feel free to run alts/lowbies!
You must rep DA while in WvW. We do not, however, care if you rep us outside of WvW. Obviously we want you to so you can join in on the fun, but we understand people have multiple guilds for various reasons. We simply need to be your core WvW guild!
Be respectful to fellow guild mates, server mates, and enemies alike. Don’t dance on bodies and laugh if we win. Don’t yell at members when we lose. It’s easy to get caught up in the game, but don’t let that lead to bad attitudes. We want to play seriously while still having fun!

Note: If you’re looking for a WvW guild, but you just wanna keep it light, we have our fair share of WvW trolling, chilling, and just running around picking fights (see the YOLO series on our Youtube!). We’ll be more than happy to have you as well, but ideally we want more serious, active WvW players to help strengthen our group and lead us to victory!

Oh, just wanted to add in, that while we ARE a WvW Guild, we still do other things as well.
Many people participate in PvP, Dungeon runs, Fractals, and World Bosses like the Shatterer and Shadow Behemoth. Personally, I am usually online during the day running those things to gain better gear for WvW, and then at night I join in on WvW to help the Guild out.

Seeingblue, I’ve been doing a lot of recruiting myself and have seen your ads all over. I am not sure that you spent much time considering my desires.

Justin, sounds like a great option for me but I am trying to avoid top tiers. I think other worlds could use some WvW players too :P . I especially like that you are seeking necros.

Ashtanford, I am definitely avoiding 100% rep guilds. There are plenty of good 100% rep guilds I could have joined. I think 100% rep is an old way of thinking and is does not take into account the flexibility having multiple guilds offers (e.g. a dungeon guild, wvw guild, guild mission guild, spvp guild, etc.).

I have a friend who’s moved to BP and I may very well join them. I’d like to see how the first week settles.

To address some other points you all mentioned.

• I’ve got an 80 in every class. I prefer necro. Necro, guardian and ele are pretty well geared. I have the gold to fully gear the others as needed (waiting to settle on a build for a number of them).
• I have more than 160 world ranks in total (I’m not going to total them all up). I have 81 on the necro and 23 on the guardian.
• I have a commander tag on my necro. I’m sure there are many commanders out there with more experience (especially considering my time in T8)
• Yes, I can afford the world transfer. I plan to convert gold to gems.
• I have a microphone and know when to use it. I have or will download any voice program.
• I’m taking a small break from gw2 while my buddy gets to know BP WvW (aka my gw2 time will be light this week)
• I’m a team player and am happy to change my build/gear. No solo roaming for me.

Hey man! If the BP thing doesn’t work out, you should look into HOPE on FA. We’re a very competitive and hardcore WvW guild and do have high expectations of all members that join us, but you don’t need to necessarily represent us all the time if you enjoy other aspects of the game. We just try to make sure that every member in our guild wants to get the same thing out of the guild, that we’re all on the same page, and working towards the same thing. Our roster has a total of 64 members right now, and we run 20-25 members every night.
