Guild Wars 2

Yet another returning player looking for a guild thread… seems everyone who I played with in the past…. is playing something else.

I am a returning player seeking a USA East Coast casual PVE friendly guild. Currently on the Henge of Denravi server I do not need to be in the biggest or the top tier guild as my playtime is casual at best. With that being said I was here when the game went live, though have not played much in over a year. I have leveled an Elementalist (Human Female)and a warrior Human Female 80 and 2 Rangers (Norn Male, Main Char) to 80. Have not done much in the way of dungeons/ missions as when I was playing it seemed all everyone wanted to do was WvWvW…. I have done some crafting I have a 400 Tailor, Chef, Huntsman, leatherworker, a 100 something jeweler so far. As of yet, no legendary or ascended gear, though, eventually would like to get some.

Ventrilo or TeamSpeak are installed on my systems….

my Playtime at best will be weekdays after 5pm Eastern standard time, till about 10pmish …. weekends sporadic at best during nice weather. I do not want to commit to anything specific with what I am going to do. I am in the over 30 crowd but am open minded and very familiar with adult discussions. I have extensive experience with a lot of various MMO games which have been out there, past and present.

After taking a break from GW2 for a while, I came back and the guild I was in, was gone… what a surprise. Found some of the people are still playing, but our play style and main play time just do not seem compatible. Great people, but, I need something like daily runs for missions, fractals, dungeons, and coaching me and giving me suggestions and assistance with learning things again. As to why I have two rangers, I started as a Norn, and found I am liking the smaller sized races more. I just cannot bring myself to delete the character.

Hello, Cynestra! Welcome back to Tyria. =) From what you described (a casual PvE guild with Eastern time zone events), I believe my guild, Ember Solace, would be a good fit for you.

We’re on Tarnished Coast (although that doesn’t matter except for WvW). We have 72 members in the guild, with about 50-55 logging in each day, and about 18-25 online during peak times (which are Eastern evening hours).

We use TeamSpeak3, we are 100% rep (our members can’t be in any other guilds), and we have an application (to weed out trolls/elitists).

I run a (very) small one, not sure if that would be a deterrent or a plus to you or not. The members we have don’t feel like ‘just a number’ because we’re tight knit.

We require 100% rep(aside from guild banks and stuff) cause in the past people who didn’t rep didnt EVER rep, and thus didnt feel like a member of the team. So now it’s compulsory.

Just throwing my hat into the race, we’re all very knowledgeable.
