Guild Wars 2

I am not looking for the perfect guild, since it is impossible, but a good fit guild is the next best thing.

I am an introvert. For many, this means shy/loner/anti-social. Far from it. Introvertness merely refers to how a person recharges his or her energy – energized by other people, or energized by solitude, time alone and self reflection.

I am an EST player. I am looking for a small guild, preferably 25+ year-olds. I relate to people of that age range best. In the 5 years that I have played World of Warcraft, I have only been in one actual guild. After I left that guild, I was content being in my own personal guild, and a list of friends that I have made from other guilds.

My introvertness means that I am perfectly happy with sometimes being the only one online, and sometimes having a few friends to talk to. Sometimes I want to just do my own things, and sometimes I want to participate in whatever it is people are doing. I don’t have a set schedule of when I play, as I don’t play video games as much as I used to. I just hop on when I need a break from life. I am not a talkative person, but engage me in something that I relate to, or have an interest in, and I can talk your ears off. People sometimes mistake that as aloofness.

In other words, as much as I enjoy being with people, I like being by myself sometimes, and a guild that doesn’t mind me not paying attention to guild chat all the time would be great.

I am looking beyond people to play with. I like friendships. Making 5 friends in a 5-member guild is more joyous to me than being able to see 15 people online any time but knowing nothing beyond their screen names.

I currently have a few friends from WoW who convinced me to play, although they rarely play themselves and I find most of the time I play alone. I have not done any dungeons or WvW at all, though I am excited about them. I only have a level 40 warrior in two months since I picked up the game. I will definitely consider a transfer for the right guild.

Even though I am on Tarnished Coast, I don’t roleplay (I love seeing RP out in the world though) openly, and all RP I do is in my head – like what build fits my character, what decisions they would make in their personal stories, their preferred weapons, etc.

Maybe you would like to give our guild a thought. We have a great community with friendly and helpful people. In our guild if you want you can participate in one of the many events we have scheduled on a regular basis, or you can roam alone at times when you want to be by yourself. We do require to be on mumble for organized events such as guild missions, WvW or dungeon, even if you only listen in. It’s easier to coordinate and have a successful run if everyone is on the same page.

• Dungeons – Some dungeon running. Activity will increase as we recruit new members and our low levels reach 80.
• Fractals – Same as above. Our most active runners are at level 3-5.
• World Bosses – We often report active bosses and kill most of them on a nightly basis.
• Representing – We do not require 100% representation, but atleast 75+-%.

If you’re not adverse to trying a guild out on another server (i.e. guesting) perhaps No Dice might fit what you’re looking for. We are located on Fort Aspenwood (Unfortunately, our server doesn’t take to kindly to rping, you darn TCers!), are PvX, and have 15-25 members on a night.
Beyond the normal stuff that guilds offer, like high level Fractal groups and Guild missions, we boast one of the friendliest communities on the server. We have a core base of players that have become friends over the last 8 months since launch and are always willing to accept new people into our fold. We have formed a community focused on helping our members with anything: half-price precursors, dropping everything to get something their DM title, or forming a WvW mini-zerg to get a tower in Enemy territory for Map Completion.

I won’t talk your ear completely off about how great we are, mostly because of the server difference. I would encourage you to try to find a guild on TC to be able to fully participate in whatever guild you settle on (such as WvW and guild bonuses). I’m from Binary Alliance and we are all about building community. We don’t take every member that comes along and actually take the time to get to know people before they become full-members in our guild. This means we don’t grow as fast as some guilds but we build stronger bonds with the people within our ranks.

We’re mainly a PvE guild based on Crystal Desert, but we also do a little PvP and WvW on the side. Most of our guild members are 20- 30 years old an have been playing mainly MMOs. We accept members of all play levels and are happy to teach new or returning players.

Crimson Guards United Gaming Recruitment :

In 2003 a small group of friends founded CG to play casually and focus our time on one game. It soon took off into more then one game and developed into what we now call “Crimson Guards United” gaming. Guild Wars 2 was chosen for its impressive MMO game play style which sets itself apart from most MMO’s and as of right now we have been openly recruiting on Jade Quarry.

Guild Focus: Right now our main focus for the guild is PvE Dungeoning, Dailys, Monthlys, and Group Events. We know some members like to do Dungeons or just PvE in general more than doing WvW or PvP so now members are required to do one or the other. Division Requirements :

So, we wanted to set up a strong division here on Guild Wars 2 and so far its on the right track. We are currently accepting all skills levels and character levels. Our only requirement is 16+ years of age, to keep drama out of our guild so every mature player can have a fun experience in our guild. To join our leadership you must show you will be active, show you have what it takes to lead, and be able to promote CGU. It won’t we easy to start off but the leadership positions may go fast. We usually let our current active members on Guildwars make the final decision who they want to represent them.

My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smaller, casual yet social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Some of our members also enjoy WvsW/sPvP and we do have our own arena. Knowledge of and/ or participation in RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time.

We are currently working on building up a solid core of pve players, but there are still a few around who would be more than happy to help teach you if you want to learn and have a little patience. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too.

We have a good US amount of members as well as NZ/AU – I primary play US hours myself being a kiwi.

Senility aims to be a multi-gaming casual guild for the adult gamer. We all lead busy lives with our work and family commitments – that at the end of the day we want a stable and competitive guild, without the fear of being dismissed or berated for prioritising our real life responsibilities over those of MMo’s and gaming in general.

Senility is not a hard-core guild. We are tailored to the working adult and/or parent who cannot afford to spend countless hours on an MMO when life’s priorities demand our attention. Senility offers an adult community that specialises in casual play for adults who want to enjoy MMO’s without the pressures and time demands that other guilds sometimes inadvertently place on their members.
