Greetings to all,

The Order has opened its doors for the kind and social!

What do we offer?

We’re mostly casual, depending on your description of the word.
That is, we’d like to gather players for the following:

• A relaxing environment within the Guild,
• Play as you want/no forced “Meta-builds” playstyle, (further explained below.)
• Dungeons,
• Fractals of the Mists,
• General PvE & Map Completion,
• Personal Story,
• Living World,
• Guild Missions,
• Achievements,
• PvP Teams
  and if possible raids.

Important Notice:
We won’t force you into a certain playstyle.
Be it time spent online, representing the guild or a certain build, among others.
It’s all up to yourself.

• Time spent online:We understand many have their lives to live and families to care for. It’d be insane if we’d get mad because your in-laws showed up or your son/daughter just woke up from their nap.
• Guild representation: We know many guilds require 100% representation, we don’t.
  Back in the day when Guild Influence as currency was a major thing representation was desired. This system is outdated and has been replaced with favor. You can still use the Guild’s chat, play with us, see who’s online etc. while representing another guild.
• Play as you want: If you’ve always wanted to play a supportive guardian, a longbow ranger, a dual pistol thief etc. We’ll gladly give you the chance to.
  We do not hate or dislike the meta, we simply don’t live by it.
• out-of-game interaction: Voice chat, forums, and other sites or registrations to these is not required.
• Heart of Thorns is also not required
  Yet not having the expansion might limit yourself in some of the guild content.
  Although a lot of fun is to be had in the mainland of Tyria, sometimes we like to play in the expansion.

• Our homeworld is Desolation
  Yet homeworld servers only matter these days for World v. World v. World.
  A new system of Mega-Servers has been introduced and because of that we can easily play together at all times.
  All European worlds are shared and all North American worlds are shared in general PvE and PvP.

• Quality over Quantity
  One of our goals is to focus on the quality of our Guild and its members, not the quantity. I’d rather recruit a single player who has just begun the game and doesn’t know anything about Tyria than a group of 10 trolls.

Begone ye trolls! We have a +10% damage bonus versus your kind!

If you’d like a Guild of limited size, yet active enough to do Dungeons and Fractals and other PvE content with. I hope you’ll feel at home with us.

• Opportunities for promotion within the Guild.
  We’re still actively looking for players who’d like to attain the position of an officer within our Guild.
  Being an officer means:
• Helping other members either by giving them advise or by answering questions.
• Supporting organization during Guild Missions.
• No forced recruitment duties.

Why are we recruiting?

Although we’re not inactive we do notice that being a small guild has its limitations.
Sometimes we end up with needing just 1 more for a Guild Fractal, Dungeon etc.
I personally do not dislike this because it allows for pugging and meeting new people but Pug’s don’t always agree with our mindset. In Fractals they may demand meta-gameplay, in Dungeons they may demand speed-clears and the use of gimmicks and minor exploits.

As such we’d rather have you join us so we can all feel at ease.

Although mostly providing PvE content and a bit of PvP, I’d be glad to expand more into WvWvW if found in want. (The Guild Hall does provide for the latter two kinds of players.)

At least you get to complete your Casual/Veteran Fractal Hero achievements with us!

Hey, although you’re more than welcome to join us I must say that with the current megaserver system it might be a bit difficult.

This is because they’ve put a hard split between US and EU servers.
Someone on a US server simply can’t play with someone on a EU server unless they transfer using gems.

We have members who are frequently online and I do consider them relaxed but we simply couldn’t play with you due to the servers. :/

Oh well that’s no good then. I thought the server thing was only a problem for WvW. I’m so confused! Only been playing a few weeks so still trying to get my head around everything!

No problem at all lolly, I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for.
I simply didn’t want to invite you without being able to provide you exactly what you’re looking for. A guild where you don’t feel 100% at home may be a good guild, but it isn’t a great guild!

Imagine making friends with whom you simply can’t play, that’d be torture!

2 weeks later, time for another bump!

Have a feeling I might just be able to squeeze myself right in here.
Active time for me is from 7-9 GMT.
My main is an Ele but falling in love with the dragon hunter.
Would be on maybe 4 times a week.
