So yeah, I am tired of staunching the bleeding on Borlis Pass and am looking for a change of pace. Any servers in need of a WvW Commander with 2 years experience in driving guild groups, pugs and dealing with holding together borderlands while insanely outnumbered? Won’t fill this with a bunch of chest thumping and just leave it for you all to believe (or not) that I am very good at what I do.

If you are looking for a server in desperate need of help, i’d suggest Kaineng (NA). Many are players currently leaving, due to lack of numbers. We have lost 3 WvW guilds this month. It will not be easy here, & i hope you are up for a challange.

[Bana] is the biggest WvW guild left on Kaineng & we would love your help, and anyone else who isn’t afraid of being outnumbered.

FA could be a good home for you too. Really either FA or SoS. Both have plenty of guilds to choose to drive for, with strong, lasting histories, a close community, and kitten good fights. Depending on your TZ, FA may or may not be the easier/harder experience, as we tend to dominate fights in NA prime, some parts of SEA and EU, but struggle in OCX and late PST.

If you’re curious, stop in at our FA public WvW forums and tell us a bit about what you’re looking for, see where’d be the right fit. We’ve had others in the past looking to drive on a new server with a brand new set of circumstances to liven up play, and FA is a popular choice due to the strength of our pugs/militia and the wide variety of guild groups to run with. However, SoS is also a solid choice.

In any case, post up in that public section and we’ll answer any questions you’ve got.

If you want to do what you do best, fighting and winning against overwhelming odds, Anvil Rock is the place for you to go. We are almost done getting rid of all the douchbags in our community and we are looking forward to rebuilding the server based on communication and teamwork, from pugs and guilds alike.

Our current lack of coverage keeps us low in points and ranks at the moment, but it very satisfying to beat server 3-4 ranks above time after time during NA prime time until they give up if they dont have at least twice our numbers! I personnally seen guild groups running for cover before my pug group with even numbers on both side.

Of course, if you are looking for an easier place to play, i can understand

For someone who drove in aeros’s guild (Borlis savers) for several months, I can say BS went down hill after I left and Esperanis took back over the main commanding in it. I can speak for FA and say if he joins our server it would be more harmful to put pugs under his command then good. He had a decent following but his apparent tactics were not present. His most common words were 3 2,1 push and not drive past that. He is knowledgeable in terms of siege and strategies for sieging but he doesn’t know combat. Look at Esperanis as a pugmanding not a guild group pugmand driver.

Dude, you were in the guild for all of 8 weeks. Quit giving yourself so much credit and have another rage quit (is it three now?) and sell all your siege weapons. Before coming back and asking for more donations from people. Are you still bitter about getting wiped by my zerg (that “clearly” outnumbered yours) over and over again after you transferred? :P

Dtc is right. He’s a karma train commander. Nothing special.

Esp unlike u, I’m not making stuff up. I was minister of war for 3 months, then was in BS for fair chunk of the following minister term, but stepped down from minister of war. I joined BS maybe a month before I became minister of war. and during the time I was minister of war, BS was at its prime. Esperanis is a decent guild leader, a knowledgable pug mander, but not a field tactician or a driver. Take him as U will.

During season 2 when we faced U, we had about 10 online a night vs ur 50 man guild, easy wipes for sure.

I’m sad to hear that BP is losing one of its best pugmanders. Esperanis’s runs are what drew me into WvW last year. I hope you end up on a fun server.

I am grateful for the support, but my ego needs no soothing. I know what I am capable of, and my limitations. For that matter, I know what DtC is capable of and his limitations, and it was good fun spiking him 1 week after he transferred off BP. DtC’s biggest problem was always his ego. It could not be contained, and heaven help anyone that showed him otherwise.

If anything, the naysayers that feel the need to post in this thread is proof enough I have made an impact in the mid tiers. I am loved and hated. The fact that my name alone is enough make these people crawl out of the woodwork, is proof enough that my name carries weight. For good or bad.

Makes me wonder how u spiked me a week after I left BP, after all BP didn’t face FA until several weeks into leagues and we transfered a couple weeks before hand,

SBI could really use a quality Pug commander! We have been on the decline for a while after a good number of our skill grps went to some upper tier servers. Our pugs work really hard and have skill, but could use a bit more direction! Please consider!

I recommend you try IOJ. We could use an NA militia commander. Great stable community.

Well, ignoring the forum post war here. If you want a challenge then come to Anvil Rock. I will be honest, don’t expect huge numbers because tier 8 is not blob vs blob, and when “blobs” do form they’re roughly 10-20 people at most. We also tend to be fighting outnumbered fights (as of late, we have been bleeding players for months after slowly building) and do win a fair number of them as well.
