Solemn Dreams was founded by Drahkon on July 20, 2012. We are a medium sized guild with a presence in Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy XIV. We look for mature, like-minded adults to join our ranks and to share our game time with. We have a no pressure, no drama, atmosphere in our guild and our roster consists of mostly working adults, our friends and our families. We encourage family members, couples and real life friends to join our guild. We respect everyone’s right to the play-style that they choose, whether they solo, duo, pvp, pve, craft, or however they prefer to enjoy the game.

Honor – We will act with integrity, dignity and pride. We will treat others with respect.
Loyalty – We will be loyal to our guild never speaking badly of it, our leaders, officers or members. Do not embarrass the guild in any way.
Excellence – We strive to be successful at everything that we do from crafting to running instances and of course WvW.
We recognize that real life comes first no matter what.
Because we are a casual guild, members are free to play the game as they wish. There are no goals or quotas placed upon any member. Your time may be spent on adventuring or tradeskilling to any degree as you see fit. It is your time after all!
There are no mandatory guild events, however, we do have several scheduled and unscheduled guild events that members are always welcome to join. We also encourage our members to start their own events and invite other members to join them.
It’s important that people know some things about our guild before joining, just so they know what they’re getting into.
We’re a casual guild, not a hard-core guild. We do run end-game content several nights a week and we do get loot but we are not ABOUT the loot.
Our guild has a presence in both Guild Wars 2 and Final Fantasy XIV. Some of our guild leadership and members play both games and some play only one. If you need to contact an officer and they are not in-game please send them a message on the guild website.
We care about the Solemn Dreams tag. As a relatively large guild, we get seen around the world quite a bit. It is highly important to us that Solemn Dream’s members are seen as courteous toward others both inside and outside of the guild.
We are helpful, but we’re playing the game too. The primary purpose of the guild is to supply our members with allies, not freebies. We love to help members achieve their goals in-game but we are not here simply for hand-outs.
Our guild is low drama and will stay that way. The Officers work very hard to make the guild both fun and safe for everyone who wants to participate. There are people of all ages and backgrounds in our guild, and our one demand is that everyone be treated with respect.
We want to get to know you. Our application process is a bit involved. We’ll review it then we may have a few questions to ask you.
