Hey there guys, I’m apart of a sponsored multi-platform gaming community and I’m posting this to gauge interest in a new guild for GW2. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and the community.
About me:
I’ve been playing GW2 on and off since beta. I’ve been hardcore PvE/WvW and PvP. Currently finding my balance between PvE and WvW. I’ve lead several GW2 guilds across a few servers: DR/DB/SBI in the names of BLUE/WoS(300)/BEAST. Each guild I’ve been apart of has helped me learn and develop both as a player and a leader. My old core group has long since burnt out of the game, but no other game still feels like home for me like GW2 does.
About SGN:
As I said before SGN is a sponsored multiplatform gaming community currently across all major platforms (Xbox one, PS4, PC) So even if you need a break from GW2, chances are we have you covered. Our motto is come for the gaming, stay for the community and it’s something that we strive and shoot for every single day. SGN started in early 2012 as a review website but quickly out grew that to slowly become an inclusive gaming community and now has 261 members that play cross platform. SGN can offer: discounts on products from our sponsors, time in our community streaming schedule, videos to be uploaded onto our Youtube channel, free GFX from our team, and our very own website and TS3 server.
What do we plan on doing with GW2?
Ideally we’re looking to create a helpful environment where players of all types and experience levels can come together, grow, learn and develop as players regardless of their skill level. We plan on being PvX with a focus on fun. Within GW2 we can have a competitive PvP team, WvW group or dungeon experts. It doesn’t really matter. As a previous guild leader I refuse to map chat recruit and will pull people through private whispers and forum posts only for the type of quality player I’m looking for.
What do I need?
Before I can approach the other staff members of SGN about starting a GW2 guild I need to have 10-20 interested members.
Members who have a good attitude when it comes to playing and explaining games.
Members who can keep themselves in check, since we have sponsors public trolling isn’t acceptable.
Ranks:
Guild leader: Since we have sponsors, only I will be able to have this rank.
Possible second in command rank if needed.
*Officers please be aged 16+*
WvW officer(likes to organize WvW events! Must have commander tag) who will report to me as the guild leader.
PvE officer(likes to organize PvE events for the guild and run guild missions. Must have commander tag) This person will report to me as the guild leader.
PvP officer(likes to organize PvP events! including the main PvP team)
Each of the above person must be able to work and communicate efficiently and nicely between other officers.
Members – players who have signed up on our website www.thesgn.com and are active on posting to the website
Trial members – players who show promise, but have yet to sign up on the website.
Bad Standing – members who have gone 2-4 weeks without logging on with no explanation on the website.
