TBT, a brief history:

TBT started on AR as a break off from a PvX guild by El Cid who wanted to get more into WvW. After getting established we transferred off to a handful of servers trying to find our home. When archeage came out TBT took a break from GW2 and swapped games, but the true love of the guild never stopped being GW2. We’re currently on Tarnished Coast

With all the guilds out there, why join TBT?:

After playing this game since launch, running my own guilds and guild hopping. I can honestly say that TBT is the only reason I log and raid everyday. The bond and friendship in the guild is unreal and it really makes for a fun night. From joking around to getting serious about fights it’s a very friendly atmosphere that remains competitive in spirit. We can offer help to any player whether their new or experienced with: staying up with the meta, build tweaking, ability cast sequencing or whatever you need to succeed we can help you get there. I honestly believe that TBT is right for anyone (new or experienced) who is looking for a hardcore WvW guild that runs 4-5 times a week. The guild leader has returned and the core of the guild has flocked together once again to rebuild and make something happen!

We are currently in need of: All classes except rangers and thieves but will make exceptions for talented players. We will help players offset the cost of transferring as much as we can.

Reasons I enjoy being in TBT

• Helped me pay for my transfers.
• Helped me make a great build, even donated gold to fund it.
• Didn’t get mad at me when I died, they are patient and helped me get better.
• They make raids fun.
• They raid often.
• Things aren’t too serious, only when they need to be. Very relaxed.
• Great commanders, no fear of getting wiped when running with them.

TBT is always super organized and dominates whatever game they are playing. The guild has always consisted of casual and hardcore players. TBT is the only guild I’ve seen that is able to compete at a hardcore level without having insane requirements.

Here are five reasons to join TBT:

Once a rattlesnake bit El Cid. After five days of excruciating pain, the rattlesnake died.
Superman has a picture of El Cid on his pillow.
El Cid can kill two stones with one bird.
Sharks have weeks dedicated to El Cid.
El Cid bowls overhand.

Still looking for players. Our priority is a couple eles and a few heavies to round out our comp. Will accept decent players of all classes except thief / ranger (sorry guys got those on lock). We don’t want to run over 25. We like to keep it in guild as far as raids go, but we’ll pug it up on occasion… also, we don’t really use the boonshare crutch if at all avoidable.

TS is required as always. Need to be able to take constructive criticism.
