Hi there!

I’m a veteran player looking for a new home. I’ve been playing since just after launch and have just come back from a six month break due to grad school. I’ve done a bit of everything, and currently my passion lies in PvP. I formerly ran a small guild called the Ebon Banner [Ebon] on Tarnished Coast, but that sadly fell through during my absence. I’m an avid PvPer, and have run workshops for new PvP players in the past, was rank 61 before the boost to rank 80, and before leaving was usually in the top 200 on the leaderboards.

What I’m looking for is a friendly talkative guild to join and hopefully make new friends in. I like using voice chat, both for organized dungeon runs and PvP or just for chatting. If anyone who is interested in helping me find a new home needs to know more or has any questions, just let me know!

Welcome back to GW2. Your PvP Workshops sound like a lot of fun, and it seems like you have a lot of experience with PvP.

From what you described about what you’re looking for, I think you might be interested in my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a PvX guild on Tarnished Coast, and we have Officers for different areas of the game, including Nighthawk, our PvP Officer. We’re 100% rep with an application (to weed out trolls) and a trial period (to ensure that we’re a good fit for each other).

We’re incredibly friendly and warm to people, we use TS3, and we have regularly scheduled activities throughout the week. Mondays are Intro to PvP with Nighthawk and his Assistant, Aerveor. Tuesdays are Trivia with Nil (Guidance Assistant) and #TacoTuesdays (Tequatl) with Veronica (Guidance Officer). Fridays were Team PvP until the new matching system made that tricky, but we’re working on putting together things like duels in our custom PvP arena. Saturdays are Guild Missions with Petra (PvE Officer), and Sundays are WvW Havoc Squad with Petra and Nil. We also have Beginner Fractals, Living Story Achievements, and spontaneous dungeon runs (speed runs and full clears alike) that happen throughout the week, usually with Kiore and Spetizer (our PvE Assistants).

I think those things are really awesome, but they don’t really adequately explain how much we care about each other and have formed a guild family. We held a donation drive for a charity this holiday season and had a Wintersday Party with DJ’d music over TS and played games in Hoelbrak.

That will let you view our Calendar & Events section, where you can see an archive of our weekly scheduled events going back several months. Hey Sulecen, check out Dragon Empire Alliance. It’s a tight knit PvX guild on TC that I lead. Recently we started gearing up to develop a wvw crew, and most of those are also interested in PvP. I’m a huge fan of it and play several sets a week. We also had our first pvp night last night where we started talking about builds and rotations. you would definitely be the most experienced, and we would heartily welcome you. I can’t promise anything except a home with interested, social and semi competitive players willing to learn and enjoy all aspects of the game.
