Guild Wars 2

Hello, I am a returning player who’s spent most their time soloing to 80 with my main, a thief named “Elaine Cross.” I left GW2 around the time of Queen’s Jubilee, and came back about a week ago due the a sudden influx of free time.

I would like to join a casual and newbie friendly guild. I am mostly looking for PVE, as I have yet to even touch dungeon content. But I would not mind some PVP as well. A roleplaying guild would suit me best, but it’s completely fine if it’s not an rp guild. I would like a medium to large sized guild, but a small guild is okay if everyone is active.

I would prefer a more casual guild, as well. This is because my skill level is still questionable, and I don’t want to hold back a hardcore group. One of my goals of joining a guild is so that I will have a little help getting better at the game, especially after being gone so long.

I don’t currently have any sort of voice communication software, but I can get one if it’s required. I will mostly be in-game after 6 and 7PM EST on weeknights, and pretty much anytime on weekends.

Hiya, Kono! Welcome back to Tyria. =) It sounds like you’d really enjoy my guild, Ember Solace. We’re a casual, newbie-friendly guild on Tarnished Coast, and we love helping teach people or assisting with things like personal story quests. We actually have a Newbie Officer, Lolo, who hosts a lot of great events and is currently doing a special ongoing event to help all of our members get full World Completion. ^^

We mostly do PvE (everything from Fractals to jumping puzzles to dungeons and more), but we also do team PvP and WvW Havoc Squads, plus I’m looking to host our first RP event soon.

We use TeamSpeak3, but it’s not required. It really helps for things like dungeons and tPvP, but we do have some people who prefer to listen only and not talk, and that’s definitely okay.

Oh, and we have a Social Officer who does weekly contests and raffles, too. ^^ If you’d like to get to know us a little, you can stop by our forums and register to get read access to our GW2 sections. Remnants of Hope was founded on June 7, 2009. Originally a Star Wars Galaxies guild, it moved to Star Wars: The Old Republic at launch. Well known and respected on the Jung-Ma server, we continue to have an active, positive presence in the game.
At the request of its members, Remnants of Hope has changed into a multi-gaming guild to accommodate Guild Wars 2 and Wildstar. Over the past 3 years we have undergone changes but continue to improve with age and experience. We strive to provide an engaging environment for all players to play the way they want. 4. Once your application is accepted you go through a 2 week trial process to make sure we are the right guild for you.
5. After your trial period you are a full member!
