So I’ve been with Remnants of Hope for about two years now, and during that time, this community has become like a second family to me. I’ve met some truly amazing people here: friendly, funny, helpful, and just a ton of fun to be around. I started as a Swtor player, but when that game began to get a little stale to me, I decided to start playing GW2 as well. Since then, I’ve been totally hooked, in no small part because of the great people I get to play with. Whether you’re into leveling parties, dungeons, guild missions, jumping puzzles, RP, or just random shenanigans, there’s always something fun going on!

I’ve been with Remnant since December, and it’s been awesome. There are events happening all the time, and if you’re looking to do something, it’s easy to get a group together to do it. This has been the best guild experience I’ve ever had.

As not only the recruitment department head of the GW2 division of The Remnants of Hope but also a long standing member I have to say out of all the guilds that I have been a part of in MMOs this community has been the best by far. The guild is not somewhere that I just wear the tag for but has become a second family to me. I find myself coming to teamspeak and guild chat daily and checking in with the other guild members to see how they are doing. Holidays, you betcha, we are sending presents to each other, sending well wishes etc.

I have been a part of the guild for almost 2 years and can honestly say I have never even thought about going anywhere else. One of my most loved things about the guild is that we allow and help you play the game that you want. If you like PvX, WvW, or RP there is someone else doing the same. No one is left to play by their self and we always have events going on if someone wants to learn more.

Hello! I am Atomo T and I have been in this guild for about 3 weeks. It has been a wonderful experience. This is more than just a regular guild, it is more of a community and I am happy to be part of it.

RoH had an awesome time saving the citizens of Lion’s Arch from Scarlet’s malevolent minions. I probably ended up on main at least two dozen times in the past week and I think Tarnished Coast only failed to hit the 1200 mark once or twice. Very proud of our server, and glad we could do our part to help out. For the toast!

RoH is hosting an art commission for a bunch of different artists, and I was able to get a very cool picture drawn of my character Gorrmak by an artist named Crowblack! Wouldn’t have been able to get such a cool drawing if RoH didn’t set it up!

Congratulations to Haloa Ohana on becoming our new GW2 Division Commander! Haloa has been a staple of the community, and a good friend, for a long time now, and I’m sure the division will continue to prosper under her leadership. Looking forward to many fun times ahead!

Also congratulations to Nayaha (aka Grymn), our previous Division Commander, on his promotion to the RoH Elder Council! Nayaha has done great things in his previous role, and I’m sure will continue to bring a friendly presence to GW2 in his new one.

I’ve been having a lot of fun in GW2 lately! Some of the stuff I’ve done lately have been.. Guild Missions, Guild Puzzle, random fractals with guildmates, running into guildmates at world bosses and just chattering in our teamspeak even when I’m playing alone or turning into a pink quaggan. Bobble head day was really funny!

We also had our guild-wide meeting this Friday.

Ahhhh! We did another round of guild bisnas on Saturday – it was really fun! We ran around as chickens (thanks for the help too [AARM]!), and shot giant icicles from a ceiling.

There was also a round of “Freshie Fractals”… we got some of our newer members to try out Fractals, some who hadn’t tried them before and others who had not done very many. Neat!

Twice a year, RoH holds an election to determine who will lead our community as High Elder for the next six months. As our outgoing High Elder, Telana Dentari, steps down to spend more time in some fancy new MMO called “outdoors,” three promising new candidates have stepped forward to fill his sizable shoes. Danata Sendaris, Tamon Edom, and Scya are currently responding to questions submitted by community members to help them decide who they’ll be voting for in the upcoming elections. Good luck to all of our candidates; May is shaping up to be a very exciting month!

Our first Guild Wars 2-specific Division Meeting is tomorrow at 9pm est. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Lately we have been enjoying the recent Festival of the Winds.

Many of our members have listed getting a Legendary as one of their goals, and Jaan has recently achieved this! Congratulations Jaan! Another member Danata has also recently found a precursor – and has lots of work ahead of him. Here’s a pic of Jaan’s new legendary as he shows off

Ermahgerd! So many trial members and applicants! It’s great to see so many cool people interested in joining us. Also, congratulations to Scya (aka Cypher), our new High Elder!

Haloa, our GW2 Division Commander, has been posting weekly goal threads so everyone can share what they’re working on in-game. It’s a lot of fun, and interesting how many people’s goals are “Finish the goals that I said I was going to do last week, but didn’t” xD

My goals for this week? Craft some more fine infusions and finish the Queen’s Gauntlet meta achievement. Look out Liadri, here I come!

We had a really fun event the other day where we did the Zephyr Sanctum events and crystals together! About ten people got to participate, we did each event at least once, and got about 35 crystals together So many portals!

It’s great to see the influx of trial members we’ve gotten lately complete their trials and become full members! This is going to be freakin’ awesome!

Roleplay adventures with our RP Div. Commander Appleveedub at 7PM EST tonight and our Guild Community Meeting tonight shortly thereafter at 8PM EST.. It’s gonna be busy!

Been having a great time running around Labyrinthine Cliffs and the Queen’s Pavilion with RoH. 8,000 Festival tokens down, only 2,000 more to go!

Saturday’s Guild Missions were a lot of fun as well; we got the spider Guild Rush (everyone’s least favorite) but we all made it through!

Dungeon Power Hour just made its first comeback today! Your experience and skill level with dungeons don’t matter. The goal here is to learn the dungeon(s), have fun, and ultimately burn every single hostile thing into the ground! (and maybe get some pretty nice loot and EXP along the way)

This’ll be going on now every Monday at 8PM EST. The more the merrier!

Our PJ Party (Jumping Puzzles, that is) was absolutely fantastic! Thanks everyone for coming. I think one of the members gained a couple levels that evening!

I am interested in this guild, as it sounds exactly like what I have been looking for. I am on Isle of Janthir though. I have been considering a server transfer if the price drops or if I found a guild I enjoy on another server. Would I still be able to join up?

Hello Lagerfueled.5324! You most certainly would still be able to join up, we don’t have a server requirement to be in Remnants because of guesting and mega servers, the only thing you wouldn’t be able to participate in is WvW! But we would be more than happy to see your application!
