Joined this guild about a month ago and all I can say is TRY IT – you’ll never go back. Exactly as advertised – fun, helpful group of folks that are always willing to pitch in with newbies and yet can clear a dungeon run with the best of them.

My boyfriend and I would possibly be interested in this guild. I started playing Guild Wars 2 the week it came out, but after getting my main character to level 19, other games came out and I lost interest for a while. Fast forward to earlier this year, when I tried to start playing again only to find my account had been hacked… I dealt with that, and played a bit more on some of my other characters… then met my boyfriend and we started dating, and I didn’t have much time to game, so I stopped…

Now he just got Guild Wars 2 for his birthday, and we’ve started playing together (after I had to deal with a second hacking…). We’re looking for a more casual-like guild with more mature players, as we’re both in our late 20’s.

Obviously, he’s new to the game, and while I played quite a bit before when it came out, I’m very rusty…

Anyway, we’re going to do some applications on the site, and hope to get to know you all soon!

I’ve had the game since it launched but just recently came back from almost a year long break so for all intensive purposes I’m new again. I have been playing since April of this year or so and was a part of another guild who merged with Vanq. Great group of people and very welcoming. Glad we could get together and create an even larger active group. Lot’s of help from the members as I’m still learning (especially fractals and dungeons). I help where I can as well with the newer members as I just enjoy talking and playing with others. WvWvW is pretty active with us and always a fun time.

Hello again all!

With season two of the Living Story slowly approaching as well as the second season and tournament for WvW, Vanquish is still seeking loyal members to join our ranks. If either of the above do not interest you, Vanquish has many daily events going on. We have implemented a new dungeon schedule on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon, convenient for those that work evening shifts as well as for our Euro players. Additionally, we have other scheduled events throughout the week such as tPvP, map clears, dungeons, Fractals of the Mists, other activities like JP’s/mini-dungeons, and player-created events like scavenger hunts.

Aside from this, full guild missions are held twice a week by our alliance guild (Sunday afternoons – catered towards Euros, and Friday evenings). A ‘speedy’ third “make-up” one is also held that consists of a bounty and rush.

We’re all pretty excited about the new changes coming on April 15th. Hopefully some new zones/content will be included in this patch. All of us at Vanquish are busy doing dungeons, Fractals, PvP, etc., while we wait for this day.

Another quick bump for players seeking a new home. The GW2 division and guild of Vanquish is a well established one within Tarnished Coast and have been around since launch! More information about us is found in our first post as well as our website.

We know that with the recent releases of new games, players start to migrate and guilds can eventually become less and less active. We not only wish to invite individual players but us at Vanquish feel it would be beneficial to invite guilds that share common goals and visions as us. Mergers aren’t always successful but I am happy to discuss this option with any guild leader that wishes to pursue an option such as this.
