I’m tired of being part of large guilds that ignore you or simple don’t want to help you with dungeons. How do i find a nice guild for dungeons? I need help and people with patience, not be ignored and treated like trash, just because i’m a newbie.

is GoM poor in the guild part? Which server have the best guilds? Also, can i report a guild?

This is the wrong discussion thread to post this in, though to answer your question anyways:

I’d suggest asking in map chat for a small/friendly guild recruit new players, or you can always try starting your own guild if you’d like. There are a lot of nice smaller guilds out there, which is why when I go into a guild, I always advertise that I’m looking for a newer one, this way I can always become a part of the guild community, instead of being ignored by all the players hanging out together.

I wouldn’t know about GoM’s guild list, I’m on ET, and I’ve found a lot of smaller friendly guilds, and I’m actually pretty well liked and helpful in the one I belong to now, and it’s fairly small.

The best thing to do would be to advertise yourself looking for a noob friendly guild willing to help, and maybe a smaller one as well.

As for reporting a guild, I don’t think that’s viable. If there’s a specific member that would harass you or anything for being new, then that could possibly warrant a report.

For what it’s worth, there’s quite a few NA guilds that post here a lot, that are a lot nicer than their forum posts might suggest

Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. Luckily there are plenty of helpful and friendly veterans out there. Feel free to add me in game and maybe I can help you out with a dungeon run sometime.

I have noticed quite a few postings in the subforum looking for dedicated dungeon/fractal guilds (mine included) and we’re not getting very much response – just the copy/paste pvx guild that keeps spamming us without reading the post. Might be time for a new guild.

Is Dragonbrand better than GoM?

I posted in the guild section looking for a dungeon guild and had a couple people message me back. I ended up joining one and, so far, it has been nice.

I don’t think dungeon guilds have much to do with servers because parties can be cross server. Just make a LF guild post in the guild sub forum, you will get a bunch of guild invites in no time. We can’t tell you which guild is the best for you because we haven’t been to every guild in the game. It won’t hurt to hop from guild to guild for some time until you find the bunch you are comfortable with.

I’m not sure about reporting an entire guild, but if you like, I have a guild myself that might fit your needs.

Ardent Brotherhood is a Tarnish Coast based guild, but you’re more than welcome even if you’re on a different server. We’re rather small at the moment, but we love dungeons, and we definitely have patience. We’ve all been in those groups where people get annoyed or kick you for being new.
