The Praetorians are looking for more people that enjoy roaming in small groups!

Who are we?

A small havoc/roaming guild that was formed in Sanctum of Rall, but recently relocated to Sea of Sorrows, we value small groups of 2-5 over larger groups that you often see in WvW. Our goal is to provide a skilled havoc/roaming presence for our server, while maintaining a fun and inclusive environment. We are mainly an NA guild and are looking for NA members, but we do have a few Aussie members, and we would like to expand on that too!

Why us?

The Praetorians has a unique approach to WvW. We don’t run with groups of larger than 5. We believe that a group of 5 is enough to accomplish most everything that needs to be accomplished from a roaming/havoc perspective. When we fill up a group of 5, that group starts roaming and another group is started. It’s not uncommon to see multiple groups of [PRAE] running around in a borderland. Who are we looking for?

Anybody that is a fan of the roaming/havoc style of gameplay. We are a laid back guild, so any class is fine. All that we ask is that our members utilize our TS! We do utilize a tryout system to ensure that potential recruits will fit in with our playstyle and with our current members. Once you get an invite, we run with you in WvW to see if our styles and personalities mesh. This is to ensure that we don’t get too big (We want to maintain a smaller roster of no more than 50-60 people) and that those who are accepted are able to play their class efficiently.

Organized roaming/havoc groups
Weekly Guild missions (Although we are still unlocking things due to our transfer, so for right now we only have Bounty unlocked.)
A private PvP server for practice/theorycrafting/dueling

Our guild has been hit by attrition and some members going on to larger guilds for bigger fights, but we believe in our mission of small team combat. We have a small, but dedicated core of players who WvW every single night, and we’re looking for more people to game with! I joined PRAE after being in a zerg guild and I must say im having more fun in the game than ever. Its a great group of players, everyone’s very skilled and very nice! Running in groups of five is really fun and the thieves/mesmers are great at using shadow refuge and mass invis to harass zergs. Tired of being picked off from your zerg if you fall behind even slightly? Join the side thats having a blast picking people off :P

Bumping this because we have needs! We recently reformatted and don’t just run 5 man teams anymore! We now run 5-15 deep, depending on the situation, but we usually end up with about 10 people. (This allows us to take bigger targets, such as keeps, and to fight outnumbered against bigger groups that we kept running into during seasons.)

Anyways, we’re looking for 1 Guardian, 1 Staff Ele, 2 Sword/Warhorn Warriors, and 1-2 Thieves! Send any of the people on the list in the original post an in game mail or whisper and let us know if you have any questions or want to join!

PRAE is recently on a roll expanding to bring more organized small man havoc to SoS server. We just got three new players yesterday and have a pretty fun pick/lockdown team rolling. We help with builds if your newer, but we have a ton of incredibly knowledgeable players to run with in small groups if your looking for people to run with in a strong team.

I had a run in with a member of yours named X Kip X that was a load of crap. The fool took a simple joke wrong and he turned into a pathetic twerp. I would hope most of your guild doesn’t act like this moron.
