I have recently broken into(had the game installed and everything) this game a few days ago. I’m still new at this community, so go easy on the new guy, will ya?
Anyways, I’m opening up a Dark Souls-heavy guild and I’m look for 3-4 main members to join me based off of the following characters (Gwyn’s already picked by me)You’ll find large backstory text past here:
1. Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight (My character): A deity born from unknown origins who fought against the Everlasting Dragons. Together with the other Soul Lords and an army of knights, they wiped out the dragons and ushered in The Age of Fire; an era where gods ruled over Lordran, the land where Dark Souls takes place. His Lord Soul stems from the powers of the Sun, allowing him to cast down devastating lighting bolts and fireballs upon his enemies as well as being unmatched with a greatsword. He has three children; the unnamed God of War, whose power is known to mirror that of dear old dad*if not albeit weaker than Gwyn* before he was cast out(Whether or not he is truly the son of Gwyn is still up to debate, see pic on top right), his son-turned-daughter Gwyndolin, the corrupt God of Justice and master of illusion, and Gwynevere the Princess of Sunlight whose fighting prowess is unknown lore-wise(not shown). (Suggestion part: What kind of profession would my guy have to be to stay true to his Dark Souls counterpart?)
2. The Witch of Izalith: A witch-deity who fought against the Everlasting Dragons with the other Soul Lords. Her Lord Soul allows her to caste fireballs, pillars of flame, firestorms, and buff her attack and defense for herself and her allies. Her powers led to the creation of Chaos Pyromancy, the art of fire magic. She has seven Daughters of Chaos and one son(who is sadly horribly disfigured) .
3. Gravelord Nito: The first of the dead who fought against the Everlasting Dragons with the other Soul Lords. His Lord Soul gives him the powers over plague, poison, and re-animating the dead as skeleton minions(basically a God of Death). Whether or not Nito was truly the 1st to die before getting his Lord Soul is up to debate(and whether or not he really is death himself).
There are still other Dark Souls characters you can be in this guild on this forum, I’m just looking for people to fill in for the Witch and Nito specifically(Those who just want to join us in-game without specifications will become knight followers. We can’t have two Nitos or Gwyns running around XD). The purpose of the guild is to show the power of the mighty Soul Lords, spread Dark Souls cheer to the good and bad people of Tyria, share stories to those still new and interested in Dark Souls, and to show equal love to both Dark Souls and Guild Wars 2. I don’t want to bring anyone down, I just want to share my love for Dark Souls to everyone.
Note: You don’t need to act them out, just be them in-game and have a good understanding of the lore in Dark Souls as well as Guild Wars 2.
