Guild Wars 2

Hello all,

I’ve been on and off since beta but am returning now as my school and work are starting to give me more spare time. I’m looking for a guild that is willing to help me through relearning the game kitten much has changed sine I last played. I am currently on Maguuma server, but may be willing to switch if I find a guild worth the money. I’m primarily looking to get up to lvl 80 and then do PvP, but while also doing some PvE.

I am flexible as to what type of character I am willing to play for PvP oriented guilds. Currently I am playing an Engineer (though I have no idea if my build is any good now-a-days) and am willing to try and play almost anything that a good group of people ask me to play to help the guild.

I believe my guild, Ember Solace, fits what you’re looking for. We’re on Tarnished Coast, but we’re definitely active and helpful. We really enjoy helping members, whether it’s starting from scratch with people who aren’t sure what Karma is or how to work the Trading Post, or if it’s more current concerns like the recent balances between different builds in PvP or what’s going on with the latest patch.

We run dungeons regularly and have PvP opportunities, too, including an upcoming 2 v. 2 tournament. We’re casual and friendly, and we genuinely care about each other.

I’ll definitely check it out. I like the idea of seeing how your guild interacts before jumping in. Personally I think I’m kind of starting from scratch at this point so it would be great to have a group of people that have a wide variety of knowledge for me to pick at.

Yeah, it can be nice to get a peek into the community, so to speak, and see how we treat each other. =) We definitely have people across the spectrum, from those who just bought the game last week to those who have been playing since beta and have all kinds of achievement points. =)

We have a casually competitive PvX guild and have recently brought on many newer players that we are touring through the game. I typically do the daily tpvp several days a week, along with dungeons/wvw/guild missions. We are based on Tarnished Coast.
