I’m going to make my last push for Anvil Rock here since xfers end in two days. Many people are a bit shy about picking bronze they hear the fights aren’t the same or the servers are empty, but I can tell you that the opposite is true. While there isn’t a real GvG scene, the open field and numbers for the lower tier servers aren’t bad at all. I see EB queued several times and 40~60 man zergs daily during Na prime as well as (depending on who you fight) a healthy Ocx population.
A big draw for potential guild leaders is the fact that there is definite room to grow a guild down here. Take for instance the guild I currently run. I came down to Anvil rock with 5 people and now there’s 80-90 logging in daily. It’s also a roamer’s paradise with several roaming guilds on the server as well as throughout bronze (so you always get those fights). So why pick AR over the other bronze tier servesr? It’s on an upswing. The server has really gotten together and has begun to generate serious momentum. New TS (streamlined), new site, and new contact lists. Out with the old and in with the new. There are a lot of players who really care about the server. So if you’re tired of players/guilds lording over you or those annoying map trolls, come down to AR and improve your gaming experience. We’re accepting like minded players and you know we won’t fold like a cheap lawn chair when the odds are against us or when living story comes out. We’ve risen 2-3 ranks without any transfers and done remarkably against much more populated servers. Give us a shot for leagues and have fun again.
If you do come to AR be prepared to have a fight on your hands

No doubt about it, fights are close and the match ups in Bronze promise to be as up and down as they were last season. It’s really anyone’s ball game in the Bronze League! Maps tend to be fast paced, good for organized guilds play and roamers alike. Anvil Rock has some of the best of both worlds, and is training for the season, hoping to put in a surprise showing just like last season (I’m talking to all of you who said AR would be dead last).
If you are a fighting guild, this is definitely the server for you.
Not going to bullkitten, AR is mostly a PvE server and lately we’ve had a slow WvWvW game…but this server accomplishes a lot with the numbers we do pull. If you’re looking for a amazing WvWvW server, AR is not for you. If you’re looking for a close community that bands together to exceed expectations constantly then give Anvil Rock a try.

We have a group of dedicated commanders and guild leaders fighting and working together. Even when massively outnumbered, we always put up good fights. We have a new found commitment and dedication to strengthen the community and teamwork of the server, changes have/ are being made as I type this to be even stronger (new TS, website refresh coming), we are definitely on the upswing! ATM we are keeping pace with Ferg’sCrossing and have continually seen better results over the the last few weeks . A lot of really talented roaming guilds as well as WvW focused guilds . TBT, Zero, TFH, KAOS, WAR, Vale, Vex just to name a couple. Come to AR if you wanna have fun and be part of a great community that’s on the rise! Don’t forget we also have the grubmander!
All the players on AR have been doing a great job during heavily populated times, and the guilds have been very successful in assembling and working together to gain control of the maps. We need YOU, we WANT you, so we have the manpower to hold points during slow hours! AR is already growing and on the rise in wvw keep the ball rolling guys and join us on the rock :P
I’m so convinced that AR can do great things that if your guild comes here and legitimately tries/ plays a lot of WvW and doesn’t love it then I’ll farm with you to move you back to whichever server you’re from.
AR is a great server with a great community and an unbreakable spirit. We have a strong guild community and welcome more people with open arms, whether its a guild, a person looking to make a new one or just someone looking for a new home. Come over and chat some time if you are thinking about a change

Even if you’re perfectly happy with your server (screw the title), come to anvil rock. We’re the server where you and your guild will make the biggest impact. If you’re on a blobby blob blob server, or an underpopulated server, or a server that’s fairly evenly matched up with anvil, our server is the place for you: blob blob servers wont allow you or your guild to flourish and reach its potential like it will on anvil; If you’re on an underpopulated server anvil’s got plenty of veteran WvW’ers (and nooby pve’r’s) for you to both recruit from and game with; If you’re on an evenly matched server, well, AR’s just better than the one you’re currently on (jk, jk… humor all fun and yuks… but seriously we are) we’ve got a lot of guilds to mingle with and play along side during the time you’d normally play, so it just makes sense that THIS IS THE PLACE YOU NEED TO BE

Whoa there, AR is everything but a PvE server, there is a reason people do not guest here for PvE (other then those BP guys but that is only because they miss us). The server is most definitely the server for you if you are looking for Awesome WvW, we pride ourselves on taking on superior numbers and winning.

AR is a freakin great place, one week here, some culture shock and some kitten kicking has made me realize I should have never left this place.
Like bigger scraps, we get those, like roaming? A ton of that to be done, whether for havok or just for 1v1’s, you’ll be satisfied with the fights and impact you’ll have.
From what it’s lookin like we could use EU and early NA time players.
So if you’re lookin for a change of pace, where you can do your own thing, minimal lag and a different kind of atmosphere, kittenin get your kitten down here!!!
All of the game modes are easily found on AR, coming from strong PvP roots, the small squad and roaming community flourished here. Most players know their classes. Players and guilds adapt fairly quickly as the flow of battle changes. We generally we see quick transitions between offensive and defensive play. Our militia is working hard and learningnew tricks from older veterans. If you are looking for what WvW is supposed to be, AR is a pretty good choice.
