Calamitous Annihilation [VEX] is recruiting dedicated WvW players on Stormbluff Isle. We are a small guild of good friends looking to welcome new players to our ranks! We have several roles we would like to fill to round out our core group for nightly raids (7pm-11pm Central). While we raid for 2-6 hours a nightly, we enjoy what we do.

We had a few new players join us since our last post, so we’d like to take the time to answer questions we recieved.

Q: “What does VEX even have to offer?”

A: We can offer a unique gaming community that you probably will not find anywhere else. We’re all friends and we keep things real.

Q: “You do only WvW? Is that it?”

A: We also have taken our steps toward GvGs and scrims and are actively assembling a solid team for it. Off hours we do whatever the kitten we want. If that means doing fractals or EotM, then yea. We’re probably going to do it and go hard and deep on that kitten.

Q: “How would you explain your WvW tactics?”

A: I won’t go into detail, but think of it like making love. You want to have the stamina to endure long hard engagements, while keeping the fast pace going in deep and pulling out to regroup. While being mindful of everything you’re contributing, you must realize the biggest result comes at the end.

Seriously, every fight for our group, when we don’t get blobbed, is rewarding either bags or experience and is fun for us.

Q: “Would you say you guys win all the time?”

A: Kitten no. In fact, we fight out-manned and usually die giving it our best to the larger/skilled groups. So outmanned, that when we say dedicated, there is no leeway. This kitten is hard, and it can be discouraging. It’s just another day at the office for us.

Q: “What are the requirements?”

A: Have an open mind willing to help the group. Buff your shoes. Wear a tie. Press your suit. Experience will come over time to those who do not have much. We will teach. We will help. As long as you are willing to learn and grow with us, we will take the time to work with you.

We start at 7pm central. We use teamspeak. Bring food, wrench, and (don’t forget) the lube. Let’s get crazy up in this m’fkr.
