So I’ve fought against SOS many times and I know that they don’t have very good/ any NA prime, that they have decent OCN and SEA. Was just wondering if I could get more info on the server’s WvW please I am WvW commander in WvW 85% of the time, I love the BLs and do not like commanding EB generally (well at least on this server). Not looking to transfer immediately would just like more info on SOS’s WvW as an option.

That’s a broad question. We have a lot of Tier 1 vets and some enthusiastic transfers to the NA and EU timezones who are looking for an intriguing challenge.

Our NA runs around a few core guilds that try to get the ball rolling on a nightly basis; but the bulk of our population are PvX guilds and don’t do much organized WvW , so we are looking for a few more NA guilds that like to go into WvW together and work as with our other groups on our server’s TeamSpeak.

As for our attitude, we are respectful to a fault; in that we try to support each other even when poor decisions are made, etc.

Bane and vH are the only Na guilds who solely do WvW but our Pvx guilds do more than enough to make sure our bl is defended or by assisting with pushes on enemy bls. We have a great WvW community and I’m extremely glad I transferred to SoS.

Comparing it to fort aspenwood we don’t have much forces during NA time, while we do definitely have a decent sized group we can’t really do any offensive especially on the weekend, (weekdays we do alot better). while not large our NA force is definitely organized and isn’t fairweathery in NA times we often run in a big float team with different guilds doing different objectives to achieve the same goal so we’ve learnt how to fight outnumbered and how to outmanoever the other server. Also unlike Fort Aspenwood our militia base is much larger so you will have to learn to rely on the milita much more as our guild presence isn’t much but you will often encounter guilds such as
Fang, Bane, vH, BLNT, GoTM, SoV and many more.
We don’t nesscasarily have any larger guilds none of those guilds fields above 25 on a regular basis so we rely on smaller guilds working togethor and for this reason aswell ego’s aren’t flying high because no guild feels like they are carrying the server if one guild has a night off it is definitely felt but isn’t devestating.

our Oceanic/SEA is definitely strong we have a much stronger milita force in this timezone, the largest group you will see will be the TS float team running between bl’s or EB pressuring the stronger server you will also see the deadly cb+AoA force aswell as lion skeleton crew (EU) and BEAR often roaming the bl’s. our SEA is pretty strong but our oceanic is deadly we have the largest oceanic force out there.

We have a lot of PvX oceanic people who do WvW, who we try and push on to TS3 as much as possible. The guilds mentioned above tend to be more WvW focussed. We’ve recently had a few arrivals that play out of oceanic time that have made a nice difference which you can see in our current matchup against DB – score is closer than last time we met.

SoS spent its time T1 and so is now pretty relaxed about WvW, matchups are pretty enjoyable.

Our EB force is often ridiculed because most of our organized guild forces tend to take the fights to the borderlands unless we are being unduly pressured there.

We don’t pull the wool over anyone’s eyes who are looking into transferring. NA timezone needs organized groups and people willing to learn and put in time to be better.

We are not the server to transfer if you are into easy xp and karma trains. We offer a great community, organized WvW coordination, and an opportunity for guilds and individuals who really want to prove what they can do. Our numbers are small but we hit harder man for man than anyone we’ve faced.
