Looking at a potential server transfer, and wondering which of the FREE servers has good oceanic coverage?

Devona’s Rest and Anvil Rock have one ocx guild each but both are small/havoc sized.
The rest have no ocx. CD and HoD have SEA though.

Would be good to know the balance between oceanic/sea and na.

Anvil Rock has one of the strongest Oceanic coverage of any bronze league. With new transfers coming in, we’re only getting stronger.

CD has the most likely the most SEA coverage of the free transfers

If you want to be part of a good server with coverage that has free transfers I suggest CD. They have excellent SEA and NA just need more help!

CD looks to be the best bet right now. Of those listed, they are the only ones who have a consistent SEA presence.
The others on the list might have something cooking but the trees have yet to bear any fruit.

By all means join ET if you want to be bored to death, they don’t come out and play if they actually have to work for it, PvD or nothing, Keep that in mind.

Ah, so it sounds like you have a personal concern with a specific situation. If you recall correctly, I thought yours and my exchanges were pretty hospitable, from both sides. It’s a shame really to judge an entire server based on a few personal interactions. You have history with ET. I get that. Keep in mind, that we’re only seeing your side of the story. There are always (at least) two.

At any rate, this thread is about oceanic coverage. It’s not really one of the old-school craptastic matchup threads. Lets try not to ruin it any more than we have.

it happened pretty recently. We went out of our way to avoid you guys and respect the fact that almost all of your NA wvwers left… hell we even tried to get a few guilds we knew to move to you, but then, on Friday morning, ET’s community leaders posts how trash AR and TBT is after you had nightcapped everything for a slight lead … hell we tried to help because we felt sorry for how few NA wvwers you had during our time.

not only that but they delete the GvG requests and training offers we offered you guys as well as banning all our guys and only leaving the positive thing we said about you … sounds pretty backhanded to me

I still have friends on ET, but I’d hate to see any players make the mistake of moving there.

I have nothing but good things to say about Kain, GoM, FC and SF… even DR to a lesser extent although I only speak to grim when he’s commanding (haven’t fought DH or Ebay recently).I hope they keep growing and do well in their match ups and I have had nothing but positive interactions with them on their forums. You guys, however, are a much different story. It’s just a game but this shows a lot.

They’re OCX and recently transferred to SBI from T1. I think they did so to get away from the blobs.

I’m not going to blow smoke and say SBI has really good OCX coverage, but we have some, and are looking to add to it.

Unfortunately SBI will not be free this season. They are solid T4, maybe a T3 contender.

Wow you TBT-ARs sure said a mouthful. Just work on your recruitment and stop
saying crap about other servers just to persuade people to transfer to AR. All those
forum people in the past from our server already transfered to ioj, db, dh and maguuma. All that’s left is basically the past minor guilds working their best for the
server and actually working together without dramas, trolls etc etc.

If we pvdoor you during oceanics, you pvdoor us during our NA. But why be such a hypocrite when your server equally abuses the time they outnumber others?

Anyways I’d always ignore you like in the past months and months you always trash talk our server but you’re doing this right now for the sole purpose of stealing recruits. too Pathetic we never say anything bad about AR or others.

CD has a ocx guild called [OCAU].
I don’t think any free server has a significant coverage during ocx though my guild has a few aus transferring in.

Were not trying to “steal” recruits, go to all the other servers recruitment threads we have given nothing but compliments. I just called it how I see it when we faced you, sorry if that stung a little. I hope you guys do get some transfers so next time we face you we actually have someone to fight.

Thanks Vyc thats a great suggestion. I did not intend to provoke a war between AR and ET. I was simply replying to OP’s question and backing it up with evidence. How other servers treat this is their own judgement, but the fact remains that ET does have a strong Oceanic coverage which is answering the OP’s question.

I heard OCAU is awesome To be honest though we are only part of CDs presence during this time.

Oceanic and SEA are kinda different, by 2 or 3 hours…. I play oceanic, but SEA would be a bit late for me, maybe only 1 hour at best….

DR has some good Oceanic and SEA coverage, FN, Kyro, BoD and TXCO look after Oceanic and some of SEA and we have recently had Zs join us to help cover late SEA. Generally we are running a variety of 5-10 person groups on multiple objectives but the guilds pull together for bigger attack or defense events.

The Oceanic/SEA commanders work well together both by TS and whisper and the different styles of the guilds mean there is a good range of choice to suit all kinds of different players. Generally a low drama, fun group of guys and girls to play with

I think you’re wrong. Guilds/individuals have approached us on their own accord. We get one or two good guilds over, and others start entertaining the idea of coming. I personally won’t think about pestering guilds from lower tiers to move over, we’ve been there and know how it feels for others to dig thru an already dwindling crowd. I know many of the HoD vets share my viewpoint.

Ok not trying to be rude here but honestly all you servers in lower tier dont lie.. ET hands down has the highest OC coverage of all the free servers and has a decent NA as well, If your looking for a server that kicks kitten at night look no further then ET! We used call it home a few months back enjoyed our stay.

CD is the only free transfer server with this coverage. In fact we got a couple of HoD sea guilds leaving them absolutely no coverage at all. They are strictly an NA server with a bandwagon warning label.

No one is denying they have a large night crew, the SS speaks for itself. Some of us have partial night crews so would they rather join ET and have to PvD the entire season because there is very few to fight or join a server with a partial night crew and have more even numbers in that time slot ? ET would be better off getting NA time slot people tbh, I’m sure they would agree.

No this is not an insult towards ET, if you are looking for a large night crew then yes ET has the largest.

Talia is right. Recruiting guilds from lowers servers is just a low blow.. Unless the guild approaches us which does and did happen. While we do open arms to any guild, it’s ultimately the guild’s decision, not the server.

None of actually recruited.. You might see us advertising for morning and late night crew but that’s about it..

I wasn’t exactly thrilled that soooo many guilds were interested in HoD because of the massive queue time we will get during the seasons. Although I’m not going to be a kitten about it and say no to guilds whom are really interested in moving.

It’s never to late to leave the karma hearted/no coverage/que times of HoD and join CD.

I got no skin in this game, but it’s not like they are like most upper tier servers coming down and offering to buy guilds.
If anyone is enticed by their offer, chances are they are leaving your server anyhow. Since CD will not be in your league, is it really any skin off your back? Better someone in a different league than a direct competitor.

WE DO JUMP TO FIGHT WHEN ITS EQUAL NUMBERS

As a commander in ET I enjoy commanding ET troops even without TS coordination they do pretty well.

and for whoever says we nightcap when the other servers are sleeping, Hello night crew people like WvWvW and they want to play it? Do you want us to not go to WvWvW cause you guys are sleeping? NOPE that will never work in any server!

Also there is the server pride, the reason we pushed against AR that week when we were 30k points behind you and still won is because people were stressed about losing that guild we lost and wanted to prove its not only that guild that carried the server, we can do it, we rallied our server to get 1st, night crew were part of it and did their best to keep PPT up.

Call us kitten all you want, we cared about the matchup we won, same for DR matchup last week we were 40k behind and lost with only 3k points behind!

It only shows that ET cares about the PPT and cares about winning matchups ( I guess its the same for everyserver )

And eh, I see tons of you behind towers when we are outmanned by them, same banana but i wont act like that and say "hey guys dont move to X server they hide! "
cause that just reflects something about your servers community kind of attitude.

One guild or the whole server doesn’t really matter at this point. They came recruiting and unfortunately for the rest of CD they started throwing around your Server name. It has reflected poorly on CD as a whole because of it, blame the guild that was responsible not they people who were upset by it.

We have indeed had some very recent transfers, (before this announcement, I feel for them actually heh) and as you can see, nights are no longer one sided.

With a couple of hardy back capping crews, our point tick no longer nose dives like some sort of kamikaze attack overnight.

AR is a scrappy server, it’s what makes us AR. I’ll say the same as I have said for the other server’s, Good Luck with your transfers we can all use them. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the field come Seasons.

I don’t suppose you realise that by putting another server down in order to prop yours up, you’re just proving the negative aspects of your server culture that’s been outlined by some of the posters here.

And to correct your wrong perception Kraven; I lead an SEA guild – there are two other asian guilds here that I know of, one considering to transfer in, and maybe more that I don’t know of atm. But those in the Asian timezone aren’t pulling the weight alone. The entire server has come together, both new and old guilds, logging on at odd hours of the day to lend a hand in the spreading of coverage. It has been a truly bonding experience, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying myself both off and during SEA primetime.

DR has actually picked up 2 more OCX/SEA guilds during free transfers and have 2 more on the fence.

Your server has no coverage. My description of your server is accurate. It is not a putdown. These are facts defined by your servers own actions and population not opinions.

If you’re oceanic and you want to be carried by other oceanics, then Ehmry Bay doesn’t want you anyway.

According to EBay’s only recent thread in the recruitment section, they don’t want anyone to transfer to their server. So not really sure why you’re posting.
