Crystal Desert, according to ANet, has a higher population than Blackgate. With that in mind, we’re on our way to Tier 1! All we need is great commanders who can work with pick up groups and help them succeed. And we want you to succeed with the awesomeness that is Crystal Desert!

In order of needs, CD is looking for:

1) EU coverage. Our coverage here is poor to near non-existent. This is where CD struggles to maintain anything that was capped in the SEA/OCX timeframe. This timeframe would get preferential treatment with regards to guild transfers.

2) Additional commanders in NA and SEA/OCX Prime time. While our NA Prime coverage is excellent for one, perhaps two maps, we could benefit some more. SEA/OCX coverage could use improvement on BLs or where cross-map is required.

3) Early NA Prime (around 2 – 4:30 PM PST) could use an additional commander. We typically have the pugs around, but not many commanders to lead them to victory.

CD has it’s own TS and forums. Guilds who transfer may be eligible for their own channel in CD TS.

With the exception of EBG reset, queues are often low to none at all. Perfect for starting a new guild, or for those sick of the long queue times in T1 and T2.

There’s lots of room for varied play style. Plenty of fights to be had in Tier 4 (except when YB transfers down, they don’t like to fight), and roaming/havok’ing is quite alive if that’s your thing. Then again, if you want to just stick on siege and make callouts when the enemy zerg is at the gate, that’s cool too.

So come on down to Tier 4. CD needs you!

Make CD DVD Again

My Guild is semi new and we plan on working on our builds and team play to help CD in anyway possible. We are mostly NA though but maybe during Christmas break we can try and make some EU runs since I’ll be almost all day. I don’t normally tag up cuz of crappy computer but I’ll definitely make the extra effort to help CD climb up. We just need to come together and start making the best happen imo

lol no worries mate. just focus on building your guild and don’t worry too much about coverage wars. just go out and fight consistently in your normal raid times. game is 4 years old. Once you get 5-10 solid guys, just tag up ebg and raid consistently.

On a side note, Ni In gives Signet Necro training on weekends and portal bomb fridays with Vlad.

I remember when I was on CD…I commanded but there was few people on, even during NA prime (This was from 2013 – 2015, before I moved from CD in search of servers that actually had ppl to command, and tapdatmouse (TDM) was a thing).

There is a commander now in the same server merge CD is in who is on around 10EST (usually yellow tag) but has a wicked attitude at times, don’t know if he is with CD or DH or what. What good guilds are in CD now that would house someone that has been in the WvW game for 3+ years and has seen many strats that we do not use today? (I remember when portal bomb training was done by a female (legit female) asura, when portal bombs were actually done right, as well as golem-transports and scout training and field training (proper way to utilize an ally’s fields))

alot of the old strats won’t work on guild groups as well, ie: portal bombs. they good gimmick. most of the guilds on CD are pretty casual now. Like we raid, but raid to kill. And really just around the respective raid times. We don’t have any commanders that raid overtime trying to hold coverage wars together. can goto www.crystal-desert.com and look at some. The respective guilds, if they find you’re a good fit I know will help with individual transfers for long term.

otherwise on DH- There are a few groups that still do work.

As I’ve suggested in a previous thread, the mentality should be more towards a “Looking for guild” vs “Looking for server” now as the links reset every 2months and it’s all about who you enjoy playing with.
