I’ve not played in the better part of three years. Found The Heart of Thorns on sale for cheap and currently disillusioned with the other MMOs on the market I figured I’d fire GW2 back up and check it out.

(Edit: I’m on Tarnished Coast, or whatever server ate that one if there were merges) I’m looking for a guild, casually serious if that makes sense, PvX more PvE than PvP but I did love that keg fighting pvp game thing, to this day I haven’t laughed as hard as I did when playing that …

I have an 80 thief, the gear looks decent to me but I’m sure its crappy after all this time. I started a revenant since I assume everyone has one anyway and it sounds like an interesting class. I also have an engineer, warrior, and guardian of low levels, 25 or under.

Greetings Kaedian, and welcome back to the game. You may be a good fit with New Outriders. We are a casual, mature, family-friendly guild that has been around since 1992 and re-launched our GW2 branch a few months ago after several of us became disillusioned with the MMO we had been playing for several years and really liked what GW2 had to offer. We’re really enjoying it and steadily growing with people from a variety of play styles and time in the game.

I think many of us share your “casually serious” goals. We believe in informing people on the current meta and encouraging them to find a suitable role within it for grouped content, but we won’t be obnoxious or elitist about it. We encourage people to play the way that they want to play, while also balancing that with an honest understanding that some content (i.e., raids) drives a particular meta and we’ll select from people who can satisfy those metrics first. In short, we aim to be successful at whatever we do but won’t compromise on the pillars of our Guild principles to do it – 1) Have fun! 2) Help each other. 3) Cooperate as team. 4) Service to the greater good, group and guild.

Good luck finding the right place to call home!
