The Guild:

The guild goes for zerg wiping. Headcount cap is 50 active core member. After we cap, we’ll stop recruiting.

This is a guild of the people by the people. Your leaders are not here to guide you, your leaders are here to support you and push you. You as a community have to figure things out, co-operate amongst yourselves, come up with plans and ideas together. You build the guild, and you define it. When the going gets hairy, your leaders step in to help and even punish if need be.
It is a democracy here so keep it civil as to not ruin the luxury for everyone else.

Ranks:

Proprietress: This is Legendary Vic, the ‘Queen’ you may say, of our guild. She is there as a symbol. What symbol you wish that to be is up to you. However, do remember, she still holds the power to override all decisions made for the better of the guild.

Mediator: This is Thaelas Requiem, or better known as just, ‘Ricky’. One rank below the Proprietress, His job is mainly to handle guild disputes in the most efficient manner and is not limited to friendly ways. He will also help with the Council work.

Ground Zero Command: Core Member rank. These people have taken upon themselves to lead in WvW. Discussion amoungst who should lead and when must be talked among the commanders. If no one is currently leading during raid time, the first commander that comes in is required to tag up.

Ground Zero: Core Member Rank. You have fully become part of the guild family. You are required to uphold the rules and values of the guild. You are also required to help in any possible way for the commanders and council.

Men of Steel: These are the newly recruited. Each and everyone is allowed to do as they wish as a men of steel. However their goals should be geared towards becoming a core member. As a recruit, no rules or values apply to you, however, to become a core member, you have to show the core that you will abide by the rules and values.

Comrade in Arms: For those people that are friends of our guild, and may offer some valuable advice or help us out every so often.

I’m on SoR. I’ve listened in on TS to when your guild is running WvW. The contempt that the more vocal members of your guild have for homosexuals is disgusting. I will not be joining your guild.

DarcShriek, I am the other guild leader within Ground Zero. It is true that I was not there that day and thus I have not heard what it is exactly my members have said. However, the way you put it, all I can do is apologize. I am currently looking into this matter as we speak. All in all, I can assure you that the majority of the guild is mature and very sociable, and will often overlook and forgive as well as repent for any undesirable consequences. We are also a very cross cultured guild where something may be okay in one one culture and completely intolerable in another, and we understand that, so we may be slightly more lenient on certain words used within chat.

Once again, my sincerest apologies, DarcShriek, for anything you may have found offensive from our guild. May we show improvements in the weeks to come and to get along as a server.

I am currently a member of this guild and all I can say is that all of these guys here are all nice and cool. We may have bumps here and there but in the end we all laugh at it and move on, vowing to do better the next time we run raids again.

We are kinda strict on each and everyone’s build atm because we are aiming to be a competitive WvW guild. So if you enjoy being competitive then this is the SoR WvW guild for you.

Mister Pigdog, that is an exceptionally hard question for me to answer you, partly because for me, every guild is different and unique. No matter who the leader is or how the guild is run, what makes the guild at the end of the day are those people that confidently represent their guild.

To that end, all I can say is that, we are a small guild and focus heavily on friendship, communication, trust, and discipline. May I also add that this guild is a guild for the people, by the people. I may be a co-leader along with someone else, but you can describe us as figure heads, we are there to push the guild forward in whichever direction the guild wishes to go, we are not there to lead it in the direction we wish for it to go.

Fighting this group for the first time this week and having a lot of fun. Seems to be a solid guild.
