Guild Wars 2

My present guild appears to be in the throws of imploding and my present server is stacked with huge WvW queues at prime time and no coverage at any other time.

I am a mature player, reasonably experienced wvwer and have been playing since betas. I mostly play Guard, Warr and Thief. I am a European player but work shifts and play all times but mostly euro prime time. I am not a hardcore player, but also like to do more than casual wvw. I do use TS and mumble.

I am tired of queues on my server and do not have enough play time to waste it having to sit in a queue. Also at non peak time it would be nice not to be constantly stompped

I am looking for a medium/high population server and do not mind if this is Euro or NA. Also a WvW guild that would match my play time. I enjoy zerging and a bit of roaming and would be looking to join an established guild/server.

Any suggestions or websites great fully received.

1) Must be on TeamSpeak with Mic : Communication is the basic of fighting as a congenial unit.
2) Must be willing to field at least 1 main WvW char, properly attired & geared to KoME zerg spec.
3) Attend weekly training on pre reset day to share pointers and class discussion.
3) Prepared to fight to the death even outnumbered as we’re mostly called upon when outmanned.. in order to strike fear you have to be fearless, be upbeat and open minded willing to change to improve wvw experience.
4) Preferably someone not from CD or a new player with WvW inclination training will be provided.
5) Must be above 18y/o+ due to adult contents in gchat and TS.

I wanted to respond to your post as I can see that you’re fed up of the long queues and lack of coverage. Our guild, [Alph] is based on the EU server, Fissure of Woe and has almost no queues – ever – since it is a low ranked server. Moreover, we are a mature guild with many professional working folks and parents who also don’t want to queue as they have precious little time. Our membership comes from Australia and the UK/EU. Hence if you play in UK mornings during your changing shifts, you’d be more than welcome to come join our raids in to WvW. We have lower numbers in EU prime time compared to Au prime time.

Big thanks to both of you for the information, most appreciated. I am doing a bit of research on servers and the info is grand, thanks for responding.

I’m not sure if you’ve found a guild or not but you might be interested in our guild which is on Jade Quarry which is a Tier 1 server—really BIG fights !!

We also share a server-wide 500 slot Teamspeak3 channel with the other guilds on the server, so being able to listen in on the commander—regardless of the guild—is never a problem.

While we do WvW regularly, we’re not a WvW guild specifically, when we do jump in we usually roam in 5-15 man havok groups while we’re not ‘zerg-surfing.’ We have weekly scheduled WvW nights on the weekends and will probably be adding more nights as interest in WvW has increased.

Just Us Grown ups [JUGs] is a very friendly, drama-free guild which is comprised of people 30 yr.s old and older (our minimum required age is 25).

We are on the Jade Quarry server which is one of the three top-ranked servers for WvW. It’s also a high population PvE server and players from all other servers come to ours to participate in it’s events.

We have an even mix of male and female players and welcome both new and veteran players. We place a high value on community. We have a great website and a fully upgraded guild of over 150 members.
