Does this strike anyone else as a bit dumb to lump the looking for pvp group/team and looking for a pve guild or wvw guild into the same thread? Doesn’t it make sense to separate them so you can spend a lot less time going through them to find what you want vs seeing EVERYTHING; most of which has nothing to do with what I was looking for? Not to mention lumping the EU and NA stuff together as well…

Yeah they need to separate them out again.

It’s so disorganized and messy. Would it really have been that big of a deal to section it out? It’s not even worth posting here anymore.

The problem is that thread titles can look very similar. It’s difficult to tell the difference, sometimes, between a title from someone looking for a guild or advertising a guild. And it’s also difficult sometimes to tell the difference between someone looking for a guild and looking for a group.

I used to read each and every one of the looking for guild posts, but now I can’t tell which ones those are, so I just bump my guild’s recruitment topic and hope for the best.

Yep, the new organized forum is quite a mess , and the looking for X got hit the hardest imo, it made it next to useless. I am speaking form a guild recruiter pov now ( didn’t mind the EU/US mixed lfg threads that much) and now i would have to bump my post a few times per day to stay on a relevant page , if not it drops to obscurity. Same goes for people that look for a guild , their post gets buried just as fast with even less chances of someone replying to them. It really needs to be separated again, at least make a PVP section and a guild section, the way it is ,it’s just ugh…
Oh , and we ppl bumping the guild for relevance also hurt the ones that are looking for pvp or wvw teams.

As an european guild, the EU/NA mix is very annoying. As most players don’t refer to it in the title, or only half in their topic…

But I’ll live

For me this design is a mess and its confusing since people do not use tags like [PvP][Eu][NA][WvW][PvX][RP]… etc etc

Even with accurate tags, it can be a bit of a chore now to try and sort through the mess of posts.

Doesn’t make any logical sense to lump it all together. I don’t see where they really need to save on forum space or anything.

Before the change, I only had to bump my recruitment thread a few times a week to keep it on the front page. Each bump would bring in 20+ views, and 2-3 interested players.

Now, after half a day my ad is back on the second or third page, only get’s 1-2 views and I have had ZERO interested players contact me. It’s extremely frustrating, inefficient, and unhelpful for everyone. It’s such a mess that people don’t even bother reading threads.

At a very minimal it should be split up between EU/NA or GLF/LFG.

I definitely agree, it is much harder to get views on your guild ads because within 24 hours your post might already be a few pages back like Beorn said. It’s a complete mess.

It just seems like the combined it so they could have only one mod for this forum….

But really, was it that much harder to moderate when it was separated? Why so Lazy, this just make things a mess to sort for players

Recruiting already had become difficult with towns becoming Megaserver’d so LFG on the forums was really the only true reliable way to recruit. Now it simply is a huge mess and a much larger chore to go through.

Individual’s LFGuild posts get buried quickly so they often will be ignored/won’t find a guild. Guild’s personal recruitment threads get buried quickly by other posts, even when bumping daily. It is a fight to who has the most annoying bumper or most people to bump their thread to stay on the front page.

This was poorly thought out. It not only harms the individual player but also guilds who are trying to search out other active players to enjoy this game with. Many guilds primary reason for still playing this game is for their guild/guildies/new found friends, so in turn, this hurts the game too. I truly hope they make sub-forums for this section of the forum…basically, back to the way it was.

Yeah, a change to these forums would be awesome make it way easier to find what you’re looking for/need.

Also makes it more of a clusterkitten as people do more pointless bumps to try and keep their guild listing somewhere within the first 5 pages.

This really became a mess since no one really bother going beyond page 1 (maybe 2). So people need to keep bumping their topics if they want them to be seen.

Yeah I kind of gave up on using the forum to recruit now, even though it was our best source of fitting players. A real shame!
