Violent Tendencies [vT], as you may or may not know, is a purposely small guild focused on “havoc squad” tactics. We prefer open-field fights and often run in a 4-8 person team on vent. Anvil Rock is where we are currently located, but due to all of the major WvW Guilds transferring off to other pastures, and being left with no one running anything but karma trains, we’re looking for a new place to transfer to so that we can find enjoyment in the wanton slaughter of red tags. There’s some other reasons, too, but let’s not get into that.
What we’re looking for:
We tend to play very late evenings, about 10pm EST until… 4-6 AM some days, putting us somewhere between the North American and Oceanic timeslots. We play every night thereabouts.
If you’re curious about us, you’ll find us listed here on this thread about 5-man teams, or you can find our website, forums and videos here: violenttendencies.enjin.com
As mentioned, we’re looking to talk about transferring before actually deciding on a home. We’ll be checking this thread, obviously, but if you want, you can message one of the two [vT] leaders (or both!) in-game:
I would recommend TC/DB/FA/Ebay/Mag (that i have personally seen) since you are a havoc squad and these match your criteria.
Some of our smaller roaming guilds are
ARZG
CRIT (from AR)
ROAM
SAGE
wily
NS

You could check out BP! We could use some more good havoc squads! We have a community TS and run very organized groups and are great at map hopping when needed with coordination. We are decently serious about QvW but allow everyone to play how they wish and we like to have fun! The only other really good small man I can think of is SFH on BP but the NoQQ guild leader just transferred to BP and is hopefully also bringing his guild which if you guys joined would give us 3 amazing havoc squads! For more info you can visit Borlis.org
SoS is in essential need of havoc squads. We have mostly PvX guilds that do small ops or meta-zerg. Please consider SoS as we always outnumbered and everyone appreciates small ops groups on SoS.

As you know, vT, ALS often works well with roamers and contributes our own roaming. Tonight we got quite a bit of help from organized small groups of a variety of sizes. Some large enough to flip camps and distract, others large enough to form pincers and flanks without verbal or text communication.
However, OP doesn’t yet capture what you’re really looking for. “Organized” presence does not do justice to the inevitable negative judgement of the way WvW is played even under organized leadership. This does:
I’m going to suggest something rather radical for this weeks match up that could potentially make WvW much more fun for everyone involved.
Many of us are in these lower Tiers for the sole purpose of avoiding what’s become known as…“The Blob”, “The unskilled Zerg” the “Holy Kitten TURN AROUND!” we are here for the fight.
It’s unfortunate that this game promotes zerging in every way, shape, and form. You get more bags, more WvW exp, and more money. I completely understand the benefit to running with an unstoppable force but at what cost? Do you really find that to be enjoyable? If so, by all means continue to Zerg, take keeps, and most importantly have a great time in WvW!
For those of you who are like me, and many others in these lower tiers listen up. This is GUILD WARS. Not PUG Wars, not Zerg Wars, or Siege Wars. Let’s change the direction of these lower tiers. Let’s make this more enjoyable for those of us who still enjoy a great fight.
Please, let’s take this week and make a concerted effort to increase the number of smaller scale fights. Run with your friends, your GUILD. Make a stand against uneven odds, and have the courage to venture off on your own without the backing of 30-40 players from your server. You’ll be rewarded with great fights and earn the respect of the games remaining roamers.
TL;DR : If you’re a commander Tag up, please. More commanders on the maps let’s create more fights. Try to create a more diverse WvW rather than everyone amassing on one commander.
Roamers/Solo artists/Guilds Take this time to break free from the zerg and work on your group composition, builds, individual skill.
You’ll need to stay exactly where you are for anything really approaching that. Even when ANet decides exactly how it will implement its measures to penalize mindless zerging through encouraging and rewarding skilled large combat, I’m betting that you will still be quite upset every time more than your number interrupt your opportunity to win a fair or in-your-favor fight.
What you actually want is not in Guild Wars 2. Please don’t blame it’s designers or its players when it doesn’t materialize. Thanks.

Please move along. Thanks.

Thanks for the responses thus far; ignoring the ALS one. Not going to get into that here.
We’re still interested in talking with servers, even though we’ve already talked with a few. It’s good for us to get a sense of the servers who are interested in having us, since it’s frankly hard to do so from match up threads.
you should come check out Yaksbend — good community with the need for some good havoc squads — ill shoot you a PM
Ill say if you don’t choose Borlis, than yaks bend is a good option too, they were really fun to fight last week and had good tactics, also very friendly, cleanest match thread ever

Doubt they are looking to be a havoc squad, but are actually looking for a well-organized non-zerg (meaning active avoidance of large fights) tier (not server, because all 3 servers must be complicit in the plan) where they themselves are free to roam as parties of ~5 or less mostly without care for PPT. Occasionally they may consent to assisting a large-combat commander briefly, but it will be for fights, not points. That isn’t as malleable or useful to PPT as it may seem. I do not believe, long or even medium term, that the havoc squad style of assistance in WvW strategy will amuse vT. In ALS’ history with them, this is merely one of many tactics to FRAPS some kills for YouTube.
The implied havoc squad suggestion from OP is one that Anvil Rock tried many ways of cultivating since release. We failed at the point where organization frustrated ego and impinged even slightly upon individual or guild sovereignty.
Please note that from the roamers’ perspective discussed here, a “good fight” is in no way related to, leading toward, or a likely cause of winning a war. It is tactical, with complete disregard and occasionally even disrespect for strategy.

What you’ll see in the above posts by Virtute, whoever he might be..(who are you anyway?), is one of the “…other reasons…but let’s not get into that.” we’re looking for a new home.
ALS random, we’re sorry that our guild has group cohesion and actual organization. It is the reason we refused to work with your rag-tag spam invitation guild.
Your guild tag should be a badge of honor, something you take pride in wearing. I can absolutely say that Virtute, and I know most players respect it when they see it as well.
Anyone reading this, what you can take from these random posts is this. Our Havoc squad is so effective, and that we have such a large impact that 500 member guilds haven’t been able to replicate our success. Thanks.
Thanks for the responses, we’ve decided on a new welcoming home: Crystal Desert.
See you in-game.
“Group cohesion”, I’ll give you that one. “Actual organization”, sure, internally and within the scope of caring only about the immediate fight (tactically) and not the goals of strategy needed to perform as a havoc team in WvW.
“Rag-tag”, yep, that’s ALS. That’s also Anvil Rock: at other times touted as a thing to brag about by the likes of Dovgan and Sinema Kane. “Spam invitation”: no. Invite tagless players exclusively within WvW and bring them into a WvW focused guild: yes. The only time we touched 500 member roster was the day we implemented ways to know how long it had been since an account’s last activity, and promptly kicked 150 accounts, along with a mail explaining why.
As a havoc team on Crystal Desert or any server, you’ll be expected to honor the ways WvW is played and have respect for larger rag-tag guilds just the same as speak poorly of now. We wish you the best in your new home.
NSP! We have lots of small man teams (SPCA, Splt, XOXO, tM…) and we love them all: we never give grief to anyone just because they want to small-man!
We usually have a good amount of people playing in the earlier parts of your timeslot and much fewer people on towards the end. It’s rarely very zergy during these times so your group would definitely make an impact any time you’re on 10-6 EDT (you’d make a HUGE impact during the later hours).
Also, we’re in the lower tiers so you’re not going to be experiencing skill lag and enormous zergs steamrolling through 24/7.
Now is a great time to come to NSP:
After fighting AR and BP a few months back, we started a decline (we lost lots of guilds, there was lots of server infighting as well) that we only recently have started recovering from.
In the past couple months however, things have improved a lot — we’ve gotten some great contributing individuals and small guilds transferring over.. moreover many native NSP’ers have really stepped up their presence. Morale is way up and everyone’s been having a lot of fun these past few months. Now is the perfect time to come to NSP!
Best of luck guys, playing for the fights and not the ppt is the only way to stay sane.
you should consider joining an EU server like my one, we have everything you described, it’s nice and quiet at the time when you roam, you’re not likely to run into any zergs, we need more American players + we don’t diss roaming groups. Aurora Glade is expensive to transfer to but you get your money’s worth, we aren’t too WvW focused + we’re mostly honourable, aka, we don’t use many dirty tactics. The main reason is: the opponents we face on a regular basis are Germans, they blob up like crazy and your inventory fills up ridiculously fast.

See you in-game.
Good choice! CD could use some help after loosing a couple of guilds some months ago.
Love how the JQers never read the threads and just see people looking to transfer and they go after it like a fat kid with cake…they already transfered

CD is a classy server. Good luck!
Come to BP!
I like some of the vT guys
FA is a nice T2 server that could stand to have more people in the hours decribed. After primetime is over(about midnight server time) we wake up in the morning to paper keep and most of our map lost. We have havok, zerg, and more and with a bit of coverage, we can pull out of the consistant 2nd place in a matchup agaisnt DB or TC
TFH gonna miss you vT guys
Eredon Terrace has a very solid and dedicated WvW for with good team work skills and solid commanders. What we are lacking is numbers and on behalf of the server we would honestly love to have you guys.
