All new weapon skins that are rng will also use the tickets as well so yay more rng to feed the rng gods. I was hoping I could get the pistol and shield but I guess Anet doesn’t want people getting the skins.

I wouldnt expect the price to go down to 1 ticket anytime soon.
However, i think the aetherized weapons (not the skins) still drop from the Sanctum Sprint Minigame Chest, which is back in rotation because Kiel won the Election.

However, I cant be bothered to look ofr a link or info confirming this.

Aetherized weapon never dropped from Sanctum Sprint, you are thinking of the Candidate Trials. Sanctum Sprint had a chance at dropping the catcher back pieces.

The Desert Rose and Rucksack dropped from Southsun Survival and Aspect Arena. Also, both candidates promised to add the same 4 games to the rotation, so it didn’t matter who won in regards to the activities.

Also, neither the rose or the rucksack are dropping from either activity, they were only available during the Cutthroat Politics patch.

Highly unlikely. The cost is there as a way to limit rarity.

now it is 5 tickets = 50 scraps

Wow, then why hasn’t the price of the skins gone up on the TP? Just because it is already as high as anyone willing to pay?

I got the hammer skin with the one ticket I got and sold it on the TP for 60g. I put another ticket in my bank in case I wanted a skin for myself later. Obviously I should have just bought both skins, dang.

They announced it when they first introduced the tickets, and again before they rose the price, that the intro price was only a limited offer (two weeks?) and the regular price would be 5 tickets. I think future releases will follow a similar pattern.

As for the prices, yes, I don’t think anyone is willing to pay more for them. I suspect Anet will see the rate at which the skins are bought drop pretty deeply at the point where the price went up.

Dang I wish I would have paid attention to that. I guess it is important to make sure to read all the updates through out the patch.

Live and learn on this one. At least the ticket I have left can be used towards future skins should I choose to continue to buy black lions chests.

If the next set of skins follows the same pattern, you’ll be able to pick one of those up immediately, if anything catches your eye.
