You don't need to undercut unidentified dye
Organizing a voluntary price fixing cartel in a video game always works. So… ummmm… ya…. good luck with that.

I am informing people about how the unidentified dye market works.
The fact is if you list in the lowest large pile (like 100+ dyes) then you will get a sale within minutes, literally.
This certain thing is being done with a lot of items (like the ones you collect on the ground), however there is a much worse problem going on with craftables.
@R E F L H E X – I don’t know what you mean, care to elaborate?
It’s likely another complaint that mid-level blues and greens aren’t selling for enough money on the TP, on account of they’re not actually that great and will be out-leveled within a few days by most people who play regularly.

I loved outleveling my crafted gear, by crafting gear, which caused me to craft yet more gear. Life is much better at 80 though.

Ha LOL. It only got better at 80 when I finally realized it was way cheaper and quicker to just play the game and buy whatever exotic armor/weapons I wanted and just gave crafting the big FU. =P
If you truly want to keep the prices higher than what you see as being priced as too low, there is a simple solution to ensuring that happens.
Buy up all the “insert Items X” that you feel is priced lower than your perceived value, and resell at higher values.
If you can’t afford to buy up all the lower priced item then your perceived value, is lower than the true present market value.
