Guild Wars 2

If i had the exotic Advance spinal blades back piece, and trans-mutated it to a wind catcher, then trans-mutated it back to it original icon look, can i still ascend it? I already put the original look back onto it and it allows me to put it in the MF, but i didn’t buy the gift of blades yet nor make the T7 ascended mats x15 to try it yet, because that’s quite a bit of coin.

I promoted mine while it was transmuted, the transmutation was lost, but the item upgraded.

Confirmed you can make it ascended even if it’s transmuted.

I wish I knew this before I spent most of my blade fragments on starting a new back piece…Oh well, at the current 3 a day that I get it will only be a few months before I have enough to upgrade it again.

You can make more if you have watchwork sprockets. Just in case.
