I have managed to get my cooking level above my adventuring level. At the point I’m at (360) all the guides mention peaches – which are a Karma item.

Is there something I can substitute that doesn’t need to be purchased with Karma? Something fairly efficient

Peaches are a karma item but they can be bought very cheaply in bulk for a few event’s worth of karma and will level you very quickly.

ETA: Of course, you have to get to the high-level area to actually obtain them, that may be more of an issue if you are still low-level.

Yeah, I’m not high enough to be able to actually travel through Fireheart Rise. I do have plenty of Karma for them though.

I was hoping there was an ingredient I could get from friends or buy from the TP.

Not sure how much you want to spend but all the lv350 recipes using Cayenne Pepper look reasonable using current market prices.

Why don’t you have a friend mail them to you?

I was able to finish off cooking last night. I bought peach pie filling – I believe they were 5c each. And I went ahead and bought balls of dough – they were 7 copper a piece, which I think is cheaper than crafting yourself – I think they cost 16c to make (I’m bad at math, let’s go shopping!).

So, definitely look for pre-made stuff on the TP to get over humps when you are trying to cook above your adventure level.
