So I bought the recipe for Gift of blades for my leather worker, I have:
250 Blade shards
15 Elonian squares
10 piles of crystalline dust
1 watchwork mechanism

For some reason the Mystic forge will not let me put in the Watchwork mechanism or the Elonian squares. what am I doing wrong?

You need to craft it with leatherworking not the Mystif forge.

Mystic forge don’t need any recipe, only crafting profession does.

You craft Gift of Blades with whatever profession you purchased the recipe for. Once you have Gift of Blades crafted, you can then use it in the mystic toilet to start making your Spinal Blades.

Also, you need to buy the recipe first from Miyani. Be sure to buy the correct one (for leatherworker, using Elonian Squares, not for Tailor, using damask).
