Has anyone crafted either of these swords? There are a bunch of buy orders in the BLTC, but neither are actually available for purchase. I am not a crafter myself, but would especially love to get my hands on Infinite Light. Please PM me and we could maybe discuss a price.

I’d certainly agree, they are exceptionally low. The lodestones alone are 957G if purchased off the TP. The skin is amazing looking though, have you seen it? I’m sure I couldn’t affored the price, that’s why i’m relying on my charming personality, LOL. In all honesty however, seeing as how Infinite Light is something of a more longterm goal for me, i’m thinking Firebringer could be much more economically viable. The concept for my Guardian is definitely heavily influenced by the D&D style Paladin, so either of those swords would look excellent on the character.

My question, though, is, does Infinite Light have any type of graphical effects? Other than the glowing runes on the sword?

Well, according to Wiki it leaves some sort of trail of gold dust…if I interpreted it correctly. Perfect Guardian sword if you ask me, possibly moreso than Bolt.

I intended to go for Infinite Light at first but that was WAYYYY beyond my budget. So I ended up getting Firebringer. Nice blade. Can be crafted for less than 50G I believe. Took me a couple of weeks of farming for the orichalcum.

Nice man. Yeah, i’m in the same boat…Infinite Light is just out of the question for me at the moment. I’m wondering how Firebringer would look on a Guard. HAS to be better than alot of the plain looking Longsword designs.

Well, I find that it does have that gladiator-ish feel about the blade. It should fit a guardian just fine. Tho if your guardian is more of a knight, then I’d say infinite light is more fitting.
Infinite Light, I crafted about 3 weeks ago. When lodestones were only 1 Gold. Infinite light is good if your looking for an ancient/mythic kind of skin, It resembles the Mythic Sword from GW1 I believe.
I’m working on Infinite Light + Flameseeker Prophecies myself…. one blood-soaked Loadstone at a time, chiseled from the badlands of Orr with blade and banner.
If you want to see Infinite Light live… go hunt harpies. Tragically, every birdbrain on Tyria has one. Could I kill say… 10,000 of those instead? It would be easier

that looks awesome! i originally had planned to go for infinite light as well.. but decided it was a little too “slim” for my Norn Guard. though @God Walking – looks great on yours!
personally am going to be after the firebringer. : )) i love the Gladius look and really like the look of the “flame legion” shield that i’ve been using so feel like it’ll match. heh, we shall see.
