I REALLY wish you could do that. I’ve had that thought for quite a while. Tonight I was lucky enough to receive two ascended rings from my two dailies. Unfortunately, I have no use for either of them. I’d give them to my alts, but my alts already have ascended rings waiting. I’ve been very lucky with rings. One thing I don’t ever seem to get enough of, however, are the mist essences to infuse them. The RNG has been unkind to me in that regard. Since there are alternative means to getting the ascended jewelry now it would be nice if there was an alternative means to get some mist essences as well for the upgrades.

Thoughts? Opinions? I think letting us get rare materials would be too much, but just a chance at some type of condensed mist essence, even the basic vial, seems like it’d be worth more than 4 silver to a vendor.

I think this is an awesome idea. The RNG is quite frustrating when hoping for shards to infuse your ascended items — not to mention that it would give us a use aside from vendoring the ascended items we don’t want because the stats are trash to us.

makes too much sense.. wish the devs thought of it, or if they did already… decided to implement it.

if they allowed this it would be too easy to make infused gear.

So if they do make a change like this, I would recommend a increase in mats required to upgrade.
