I haven’t played for like 3 Month and I’d like to give transfer my Sunrise to another Character. I think there was a way to make a piece of equipment Accountbound again despite the fact that it was Soulbound. How does this work exactly and is Arena Net ok with it?

You can transmute the legendary to a basic(white) weapon and it becomes account bound, even tho your weapon is already soulbound but make sure you choose to keep the skin. As for this being aloud, it would of been patched 8 months ago if anet was worried about it.

Also, be warned… If you choose to transmute it, the game no longer considers it a ‘sunrise’, but a completely new weapon. This basically means you CANNOT get eternity if you ever wanted to go for it, and your weapon will NOT scale with the higher tier weapons that may be released in the future.

jwaz speaks the truth. Why even use a weapon with no precision? There are so little builds that DON’T use critical hits…

Really it only comes down to whether or not you like/want foot prints or you want/dont want to grind for a twilight. The mystic forge has/is still currently bugged in not recognizing precursors. The overwheling majority of players use a beserker weapons set, so theres not much of a need for a rush fix on that. You have a better chance of eternity getting updated to have footprints then that fix.

Legendaries assume the highest rarity pvt stats, when ascended weapons do eventually come out they will be upgraded to ascended pvt. keep in mind that release could very well be still several more months down the road.

When you transmute an item its rarity becomes w/e stats you choose during the transmuation. ie if you chose a blue stats witha green skin it would have the blue rarity. The exception with legendaries though is that you keep the purple lettering regardless if you choose to keep stats or the skin.

1. horray effortless transmuted upgrade.

or if only non transmuted get upgraded

2. They get to rub in my face about how I was wrong while I simply use a 2nd fine transmuation stone chuckling how hard they must of had it trying to earn hundreds of gold coin to build their legendary when scraping up 8 gold is unobtainable.
