June 11 Content Release Notes

I honestly believe the dungeon team has been disbanded, spread out to other ‘teams’, and dungeons are now being left to rot.

pretty much, basically why myself and many guildies moved on to other games. If all the updates are going to be casual fluff stuff and no challenging and interesting teamwork based content with proper rewards is going to come out, it’s time for another game.

Robert said there was no dungeon team 4 months ago after the AC changes. No dungeon team → no dungeon content.

What good F2P MMO’s are out there atm. I’m not going to P2P tbh. And I like the GW franchise. I’ll stick around till anniversary, and after that… I’ll reconsider I guess.

I’d rather go pay to play than deal with the crap anet is pushing months after months since the release of fractals. Free to play is not what attracted me toward gw2, the action based gameplay was the principal motivator, which is pointless if the content doesn’t follow.

Oh and I paid the same amount every month to a VPN as I would’ve paid to a regular mmo sub because anet had ton of problems with EU servers a bit after launch, lag wise. Supposedly European servers had lag that was worse than playing on US servers unless you went through a VPN because anet had bad routes with all of the French ISP. Since then I always played GW2 on a VPN, even after switching to US servers. So I did in fact pay a sub, I just didn’t pay it to anet.
Anet used a provider that is universally reviled by french isp, Cogent.

I was thinking about another MMO but i realase they are know more money grabbing thing like gambling then fun, even the single players game are starting to squeeze your wallet (DLC things that should be in game from start or at expansion)
I’m going back to some fun RPG that i didn’t finish and some challenging oldschool games for nostalgia, hoping for some new nice RPG (not MMO, something like oldschoool bioware) that will pirate…..i mean play.
