Hello ! Arenanet you’ve made a great game , best leveling system ever. You’ve made so much changes to the mmorpgs .. but WHY you don’t put some simple little things to be easier for the players.. I think if you listen to the people in this forum and change just a few things this will beat all MMOs .. Just put one kittening cross server group finder system. Is it that hard ? you make a lot of maps/events and can’t make a simple group maker, and tell us to register in a site are you kidding me really ???? It’s 2013 and I must spam in all chat for a group wtf is this ? All friends have stopped playing because they miss some simple things that you don’t want to put into the game………… Just listen to the players… We’re the people who want to play the game.I’m sure a lot of people have quit the game because they miss some simple things.I really wanted this to be the game that I’ll play a lot , but got dissapointed because it’s lacking some simplethings…..

What happens if that website goes down? Report it to arena? Its not their site is it?

this solution is a joke. a sad third party website is barely a temporary solution at best. nobody should have to use some silly website to find a group of people to play with. there should be a simple tool in game like every other established MMO has. hopefully something is being worked on in the near future

I spent all day looking for a group for FotM lv 6 and AC. Could find neither. It’s ridiculous. I share your opinion that the third party solution is ridiculous. I literally made no progress today because of this. I had no fun. And now, I find myself not wanting to log in out of frustration. I don’t have a skill barrier with fractals, it’s a logistical one. Pathetic.

They should just make a GW2LFG copy inside the game.
No automated groups. You open the LFG-thingamagic, and you state what dungeon you want to do. And then people can whisper you or /join you.

Let’s drag out the process (by needing to press the same amount of buttons, but now needing to ask a leader for an invitation), so we can avoid becoming a mechanical single-player RPG.

Let’s keep, refine, improve and integrate the system that GW2LFG has, because it’s pretty much perfect, but it simply lacks being INSIDE the game.

Repeating similar words back and forth is no longer an intelligent argument in progress, but just a sudden de-evolution into pure bickering and mockery.

With that said, there have been talks about this particular feature and that it will be “coming soon” … how soon and how it will function in comparison to what is more commonly known in more established MMOs? Who knows!

WoW is also over 6-7 years old (I dont know the specifics). It should be assumed that a game released 7 years later would have released with concepts that older games have. People are so accepting these days.

Like you said, a better alternative didn’t exist at the time. However a grouping function was created years ago and has been implemented in games other than WoW. This isn’t 2007 anymore, the genre has progressed.

It is quite difficult to do, if its the year 1993.
