Well, im a bit ashamed of the time since i already had faster ones (with worse quality) but however, i can present you a 5:18 guardian solo.
Armor has been assassins armor with scholar runes, sigil of force + undead slaying on s/f and sigil of undead slaying on greatsword. 10/25/0/25/10.
Some sucky locust stole my aegis in phase 1 and phase 2 rng was just really bad. Phase 3 made a bit up for that except for that bubble fail which, for whatever reason, i wasn’t able to escape. And my F1 use was just awful.

Has probably been my last attempt on sub 5 on guardian for a good while.

I was wondering that build was Odd! Was a good solo. Assassin’s armour? I don’t run the numbers I do what I’m told.

10/25/0/25/10 should be used on all casual lupicus solo attempts imo. Unscathed is only for record pushes… avoiding every locust bite is difficult and using f3 and renewed focus as offensive skills can create some issues.

Ah, that makes sense, thank you. Assassin armor having a REALLY HIGH crit rate + that = lots and lots of vigor. Thanks! Gonna have to pick up an assassin set.

I’m only using the assassin’s set in lupicus solos. Aside from that berserker is the
better choice. And yeah, 10/25/0/10/25 is only for record attemps.

Question on WoR during Phase 2. Are you guaranteed safe if you stand correctly? I seem to always get some AOE splash from a nearby circle when I stand in the barrel like that.(Although I don’t do it often since I have had bad experiences)

Pretty safe usually, you are not allowed to move (and everyone else has to stand in it). Also it has to be up before he unleashes the first wave.

Yeah that’s the key. The everyone else part. I need to get back in there to solo some more. I can probably ditch the energy sigils for my next solo and try to get the WoR going. Appreciate the advice.

Well to be fair, I am not safe when I use mine. Even if they are up preemptively I regularly take 1-2 projectiles each time because they land outside the wall but the aoe hits me.

Yeah, sometimes every single aoe kills you through wall. In 6 out of 7 days i’m just as safe as in feedback, though. Same for p3, some days every single aoe kitten s you through wall, some other days aoe’s won’t even remove aegis.

I’d recommend to let an energy sigil in your gs unless you go for a record, though. Doing this without any requires some play with his AI to be safe. And especially in groups all that matters are your reflects, which won’t be affected by an energy sigil on gs at all.

In what regards? I melee and solo lupi. The way I do it may be a bit noobish. I just react to his movements and go about my business. But what are the finer points in regards to playing with his AI?

Sometimes he goes balls deep in phase 3 and you simply don’t have enough dodges without at least one energy sigil. I use two energy sigils always unless I’m pushing for a record which I don’t do anymore. Also if you’re going just one energy imo it’s best to put it on your focus/sword

Nonono! Sword/Focus shall be Force+Undead due to stronger reflects!
Joking, in a solo you’re probably as good as. Undead on GS benefits in phase 1, force + undead (energy on gs) benefit from reflects. Might aswell just try and see what you’re more comfortable with.

And yeah, sometimes he just enrages in p2/3. You won’t have endurance to double dodge aoe’s (do it like in my vid) and phase 3 is sometimes ridiculous. I’ve seen triple rapidfires within a 10 second window, if such happens you’ll have to position and move (yup) in an other way to make him calm a bit - or to make him stop using aoe’s/rapidfires.
