80+ Fractal builds
They’re all on metabattle
and usually zerker

I know about metabattle but I have doubts as to whether a full zerker revenant for example is useful when all his boons get stolen
No matter what class you’re playing, boons will be stolen so it’s kind of irrelevant

Full condiiton builds aren’t more useful than full zerker ones then?
of the above, only druid / warrior have semi decent condi builds, even then a warrior is more useful as a ps
Your boons get stolen when you get hit, and this skill has a cooldown to it as well.
I’m of a different view on probably the majority. If you have a build, that you enjoy that works then use it. It doesn’t have to be meta, it doesn’t have to be full zerk, it doesn’t have to be anything other than useful and survivable, IMO.
My guild mate gets flamed all the time for not having a specific build when doing a fractal; he simply ignores them, and ultimately is usually the one that we need most on the team and is usually the one that hardly ever dies.
I realize the op is after a build for one of the classes he mentioned… I play Tempest most in fractals, let me know if you’d like my build for info or to play with.

condi engi, druid or reaper is a good option.
MetaBattle is a good start
warrior is ps
druid can be zerk, condi, or heal
ele can be zerk staff/dw or aurmancer
ele and druid will depend on the fractal and the team comp
Darkwood Legion [DARK]
Yak’s Bend
Smart groups ask for condi builds actually. Engi, necro, thief are really good for 80+. You can cheese a lot of levels just by stacking 2 or 3 condi necros.
I would like to add that gear isn’t the only thing to take into consideration, but consumables as well. In most decent high level fractal groups I’ve been in everyone has the proper food, utility and 5 stack fractal potion. Obviously you don’t need the best in slot stuff that cost over a gold, you’re still trying to make a profit. However, a few silver from each person goes a long way in a t4 set, especially those fractal potions.

unfortunately fractal pots are so expensive that if you use them all the time (especially while pugging) youll flatline or lose on fractal relics, and i would say its a good bet that most of the people who need the pots also need the relics.

So with 57 fractal relics and 14 pristine (210 regular) you’re somehow still hurting for relics? I feel like you’re just being stingy. At least get the defensive potion for 25 relics I’m so the healer has an easier time and the light armors don’t get instant killed.

yeah. the people who need the pots are likely gonna be spending at least an hour on the dailies, if not more, which means spending at least 1/2 of their relics on pots.
personally i dont bother with them because i know the mechanics, i know what to dodge, i know how to stay alive, and i know how to make fractals easier for the rest of my group. and equally importantly, i already have several characters geared up at 150 ar and i know how to play them.
i used to feel like they were necessary before anet reverted the hp and toughness scaling, because the offensive one is an extremely significant amount of damage, even if it is pricy. but they had kind of designed fractal scaling around that (but it still got out of hand in the 90s), and that was a poor design decision in the eyes of the community, so they reverted it while leaving the pots in.

Food and other consumables is a really good tip. I always take food with me, always.
