Q:
Is arah so hard that 90% of ppl can’t do it like all topics are saying on forum?
or
Tryharders are so proud that cleared it that can’t admit its harder than supose to be?
or
It’s not easy but with enough effort u can clear it?

Each time I take a group of brand new people into Arah and explain to them how Giganticus works, we down it in a couple of attempts. It’s not difficult.
The problem is that there’s a lot of people utterly reliant on a wiki to explain to them how everything works, so they don’t realize his 2nd phase aoe has a max range and they just keep eating it
The first time I cleared it was actually with a group of people I just met the dungeon before. Pug went so well, we just kept going and cleared Arah in about two hours with about 20 deaths. Then the next time I did it, got lupicus on the second try. It’s really not that hard.. Just get used to it.
Only those that cant beat Lupicus, and the Arah dungeon rant on the forums. Only a hand full that want to spread the awareness that Arah dungeon isnt impossible defend the dungeon.
Heres a guide for you to prove it can be done. Got a nice close up picture of Lupicus on it too to boost moral;)
I tried Lupicus with 2 friends with voice com and 2 randoms. We spent about an hour trying, around 12 attempts. We used DKP’s guide and told the randoms what to do. Couldn’t beat 2nd phase. It was like 2-3 hours wasted total (yay 7 shards). It’s definitely not always doable even if you know the strategy. I’m afraid of even trying it again without some sort of good group. Really tempting to say 3 players in my group were quite bad though so idk.
Personally I think they did a very good job with Lupicus. He is hard enough so you cannot do him with a fair amount of skill and persistence, and when you do actually beat him, because of the infamous name given to him by the forums, it made you feel like you could take on the world.

Add the fact that its a 10,000year+ old beast that was feared by mortals
Although it seems as if the Elder Dragons coming to Tyria made them extinct. (For the Lore lovers
