Guild Wars 2

Today I ran Sorrow’s Embrace in story mode (Gates of Madness server) for the first time with a fantastic group. We had a few hiccups along the way but managed to persevere, with some helpful advice shared and a few laughs. There were some tough times, with some tactics gone horribly wrong until we, as a group, managed to work it out together.

After fighting Kudu for the first time one of our group dropped out due to computer glitches, but we carried on.

And suddenly my screen froze. I could hear music, but nothing worked. I could not even control-alt-delete out of the game and restart. Twice I had to shut down the computer and log back on again. And twice the group waited for me. But the third time it happened I could not get my computer working again.

So finally, after three hours, I am able to come on here and apologise to the group that I was running with. I sincerely hope that they all managed to complete the story mission. It was not my intention to leave them high and dry and I feel really bad that it happened so far into the dungeon.

I wasn’t in the group with you but i hear you, something like this happened to one of my team when we did arah story mode, he got offline for more then an hour, we had to fend of ourself, more then an hour later the player returned and did his best to explain and help the team. at the end we failed due to a bug but i got to say it was an insanely fun run.
