A Tale of Two Dungeoneers
My dungeon group:
Person 1: “I need runes from Caudecus’s Manor.”
Person 2: “I need to work on getting my armor from Honor of the Waves.”
— The rest of the group just wants to play together —
Me: “Okay, let’s do 2 unique HotW runs and 2 unique CM runs. Sounds good?”
— The group agrees. —
— We successfully finish all runs while having casual conversation and discussions —
Person 1: “Thanks for the runs guys! See you tomorrow! ”
Person 2: “Yep, I’m out too. Let’s do this again tomorrow.”
— In the end, we are all richer from salvaging, merch fodder, and dungeon rewards, while having fun playing together. Who knew that friends actually help each other achieve their goals? —
My guild:
Person 1: Let’s do some explorable HoTW, CoF ?
Me: Sure anything’s fine.
Person 3: Same here.
Person 4: K let’s do it.
Person 1: 4/5 we need 1 more any 1 CoF/HoTW explo ?
Person 1: Hey someone who’s on TS wanna go ?
Person 5: Sry guys got only 45lvl, I can only go AC/CM.
Person 1: K let’s do both story for gold and explore also becouse why the hell not.
We just go anywhere together to have a good time there is nothing like “sory I allready got all I wanted from somewhere”. Every game is fine, just play together with friends and have fun, chat on team speak and enjoy.
I’m sharing the view of Lightrayne and Quam. Most of our guildies prefer to do runs with each other and I’m ready to tackle AC/CM instead of going all “Need 3 more for Arah, stop slacking!!1”. It’s more about growing and getting better together than bickering about “Oh, your dungeon gear is ugly, let’s do mine instead.” In the end, we will challenge all of the dungeons and everyone will get their dream gear going. Patience usually helps. ;>
Me as lvl 80:
I still need to do AC story .-. LFG
The world: …………
i want to see the story >_____> but ppl only wants tokens <.<
Its really bad that dungeon is the easiest way to obtain exotics….
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
Friend1- “Hey, dude. I want this CoF gear… so you wanna run CoF with me?
Friend2- “Hey, dude. Yeah, sure. CoF is pretty fun, even though I don’t need gear from it. I want to get the Arah set, though. You wanna join for that after CoF?”
Friend1- “Sure, sounds good. Arah’s a nice challenge or so I’ve heard.”
Friend2- “Well yeah, it’s supposed to be the most challenging dungeon in the game.”
Friend1- “Sounds good. We’ll do that after CoF.”
High-Five
