A thought on kicking pugs for guild members
I don’t know, I’ve been kicked from PUG groups at the end of dungeons for that too.
My guess would be that AFTER suffering 2+ hours in a dungeon with terrible PUG’s, the guild members decided to kick them out of anger for wasting their time.
Not defending the actions by any means, but it’s my best guess.
EDIT: Or, maybe, they don’t have any other guild members who run dungeons/fractals so they have to PUG, but the members are their friends so they give them the reward because of it.
The anger thing I can understand, but if they were that bad, they should have been kicked in the first 5 minutes. If you suffer through the entire experience with someone, they deserve the reward as much as you, no matter how bad they were.
The other scenario is definitely a possibilities, but it poses the question, why are you giving your friends a dungeon reward if they don’t run dungeons/fractals? They don’t deserve it. They don’t even need dungeon/fractal rewards if they don’t run dungeons/fractals.
I sometimes give my IRL friends who don’t play the game frequently free gear/gold to help them gear, but that’s out of my own game earnings, and that’s to ENCOURAGE them to do dungeons with me. Rewarding friends for NOT doing a dungeon seems to be the exact opposite effect. There doesn’t seem to be a personal benefit for the person inviting their friends over the pugs, and therefore it doesn’t make sense to me.
I think one of the problem is people no longer are doing dungeon for the dungeon, all they want is the rewards.
Judging from the way I see people rage quit at dredge fractal. I think that’s the case.

Pug are not so bad as people says.
Unless you can only reproduce tactics you saw on youtube and cannot adapt to anything….
But mostly, 2 people giving rewards to 5 is arguably uneffective time wise.
Should be a (perma) bannable behavior, its clearly scam and any other mmorpg permaban for that.
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
