A training mode dungeon
AC is pretty much the training mode dungeon.
It’s an easy dungeon that gives you a variety of enemies and game mechanics to test out:
Event types: Timed events, last stands, button pressing, scavenger hunt, boss fights, tool assisted boss fight.
Mob types: ranged projectiles, melee aoe, ranged aoe, massive attacks, rapid attacks, evasive mobs, condition damage, tool assisted mobs, zerg mobs, bullet hell projectiles, ground burst.
AC is very far from a training mode dungeon. COF is more a training mode dungeon. AC has mobs that can easily 3 shot any character in a party. tons of crap to run into while kiting. A bit of a maze with mobs aggroing everywhere. Plus it has the 2 lovers boss which is a nightmare.
Out of all the dungeons AC is the one I have the most trouble. If my character is level 35, it is nearly impossible to stay alive during any fight.
I remember a few months ago I would come on here raging at my experience in CM and AC; stating that dungeons were completely imbalanced and not PUG friendly at all. Then I went to SE, COF, and Fractals and realized. It was just AC and CM that were broken.
