AC . Dehta's Path repairing mortars
Its not a bug. More ghosts spawn as she keeps repairing the mortars. You were able to kite enough and not kill to get 2 mobs to spawn. Once you guys died, they killed her, and wait on the mortar. Thats how its always been. You gotta focus fire on one at a time and hope your team is good enough to slowly take them out one by one.
You can pull them apart, move a ways behind the furthest turret of your group you are pulling and slowly pull them back eventually you’ll notice a few start to leash back. when only 1-2 are left just range them down. If they other group comes running just slowly back up while range dpsing the first target down. It is slow but it is the safest way to clear the stacked ghosts if this happens.

it is a bug that ghosts from mortar 1 would run to mortar 2 if you wipe and then mortor 2 ghosts would spawn.
However it is not endless if Dehta is dead and you leave her dead until all ghosts are killed.
I don’t know what all they did to this part of the path, but I can’t remember the last time I died on this Encounter before this change & I honestly die less in Arah than today’s attempt at this… so I know something’s not scaling right here. These ghosts are either spawning too quick or spawning with Bugged stats. It’s still doable if you go to the far end of the room and “Leash” them but that’s a pretty lame way to beat it now.
It needs to be changed back. There’s much smarter ways to make this path as challenging as the other 2 are.
@Syde not a bug, new mobs spawn everytime the NPC is ressed so you just have to clean everything before reviving her.
If you have the frost cannon up you can try use it to snare the ghosts and try to focus/snipe them from range.
@ilr The ghost spawns with random professions so sometimes you can get 3 necromancers which makes things alot harder.

The exact Profession make up in the group that Chain-gunned me to death in 7 seconds (while I kited & dodged like a mad man with every boon stacked on me)… was 1 Necro, 1 Mes, 1 Warrior who never touched me with the bigger hits, 1 ranger, and 1 Ele.
I’m not stupid. I can survive being double bubbled by Lupicus, but I couldn’t survive this. Their ranged Stats aren’t normal “Elite” tier like they used to be. Infact their ranged autoattacks were 2-shotting the level 60 in my party. This has to be a Dev/coding mistake.
I also had a bug where all but one mortar were repaired, yet the game recognized the unfixed mortar as fixed so the npc wouldn’t finish fixing it and instead went on attacking mobs, yet people in the room could use the broken mortar as if it was fully functional.

like in other dangeouns it become more harder if you fail at first try (like vine in TA )
ofc we finished it but since you cant fight 8 phantasm you have to kite 1 by 1 and really it become so longer! also compared with the final boss.
